17 Jan 2025 21:08:59
Sounds promising, anybody know anything about him other than transfer market or Wiki?
17 Jan 2025 21:12:59
Dado I know zero about him.
17 Jan 2025 21:17:28
Excellent info John??.
17 Jan 2025 21:20:35
Thanks John. I have a semi ???.
17 Jan 2025 21:35:46
John, is this a loan to buy deal?
I thought Stewart said only permanent deals this window?
17 Jan 2025 21:40:06
Good work by the club, first there's any mention of the players name is after they've arrived in the country.
17 Jan 2025 21:46:04
He was pictured going into Ibrox earlier this afternoon.
17 Jan 2025 22:10:53
Think this one belongs to EHL John!
17 Jan 2025 22:13:37
Cheers for that wee snippet of info John. Its been slim pickings in terms of transfers/ rumours in recently so very welcome news. ?.
17 Jan 2025 22:26:30
Loan to buy possibly John?
17 Jan 2025 22:28:31
What do we think of this signing?
17 Jan 2025 22:32:49
I hope there is an obligation on the loan.
17 Jan 2025 22:35:04
With you there Florida ? ??????.

White horse 100%. Told in your fav hotel.
17 Jan 2025 23:08:32
White horse for avoidance of any doubt this is not a name I'd heard of until this afternoon.
Rumour origin nothing to do with me,
17 jan 2025 23:10:29
xmas, never listen to the ceo or chairman when it comes to players.
17 Jan 2025 23:12:37
I would find this a little strange if it's purely just a loan. I know we need defensive cover but we also need to be building a team for now and the future. So a 22year old would certainly fit that model. But if it's only a loan with no option / obligation to buy then really what is the point in bringing in a younger slightly inexperienced player who, once all our current CB's are fit is unlikely to play much and will then just leave again in 4 and a bit months?. Surely if it's just someone on loan for cover for the rest of the season we bring in someone older, more experienced and likely to settle quicker. Therefore I'm really hoping that the intention here is that we'll be looking to make this one permanent in some way.
17 Jan 2025 23:27:06
6'3"
Quick, strong, good with the ball at his feet
We are crying out for a CB with good recovery pace, this could be a great signing, but again has very limited top flight experience
Another rough diamond that may need time to settle
The scouting team @ Lille is one of the best in Europe, so they would have done their homework before signing him
Be great if this works out for everyone.
17 Jan 2025 23:27:52
Great info Laudrup as I've never heard of him.
18 Jan 2025 00:29:00
Semi automatic florida bear? ?.
18 Jan 2025 01:24:22
Why would anyone want an obligation to buy, he might be murder, as for option there is always an option if you offer what the parenting club want.
18 Jan 2025 01:44:40
Boys got some pace. Hopefully like a younger Balogun.

Bought for 1.6 mill euros from Independiente Santa Fe on July 26th 2023.
Would be happy with both Kevin Mantilla and Rafael Fernandes both big, young, raw talents, with good potential.
We all know Balogun's pretty much done, Souttar probably has another 2 seasons in him before he starts breaking down every other month with injuries (been a problem for him long before we signed him) as it stands i see one talented young CB with future potential and that is Clinton Nsiala.
18 Jan 2025 04:01:17
Xmas? What's that got to do with this.
18 Jan 2025 05:28:03
Scott why would u be happy with obligation to buy? Nobody has seen him play yet? he's not played for lille yet either.
18 Jan 2025 07:25:23
If he is a loan with option to buy, would that option be summer, would that be enough time to see if he is any good, also if he is any good why has he not played for Lille yet, has been there for a year. if any why are they willing to sell.
18 Jan 2025 07:33:53
Why sign a loan player without an obligation Paul? played in the Portugal league and only signed for them last January, you never have one positive post about anything Rangers, pure negative about everything Rangers.
18 Jan 2025 07:34:13
I'd rather have an option than an obligation. We were stung with obligations for Cortes and Diomande. Its better business with an option I think.
18 Jan 2025 07:54:11
6'3 plus U21 Portugal internationalist sounds like the sort of CB we should be signing not heard of him myself but prefer this type of signing over Grant Hanley - would guess option to buy ??????.
18 Jan 2025 07:56:21
Regarding our new loan signing Rafael Fernandes, i agree with you paul ?Our loan deal for fernandes shouldn't be a "loan and obligation to buy" but should be a "loan deal with option to buy"? That safeguards us to get proper time to assess everything about the Portuguese centre half ?.
18 Jan 2025 08:03:44
My star obligation means that we have to buy him. Even if he's not suited to the league or constantly injured. A but like cortes. What if he's no good? U will still like us to go spend millions on him. Surely option to buy is better?
18 Jan 2025 08:04:48
100% sws. Obligation to buy around a signing like this would be bonkers. Option to buy is the only sensible deal.
18 Jan 2025 08:14:39
Paul is probably scunnered like the majority of us. What is there to positive about? We are worse than we were last season. We are 13 points behind, our season is over. We were promised that it would click by October. We have the worst away record in my living memory. We have players who we paid a fortune for seriously underperforming. It might sound negative but its the truth.
18 Jan 2025 08:40:13
We should have option to buy Paul.
Coldo know one is expecting a tim to be positive about anything Rangers.
We're maybe 13 points behind but you'd never think that on the park now.
18 Jan 2025 08:51:37
Griegers, my star is a happy clapper who thinks there's progress mate. 13 behind. Celtic well on course to yet another treble. Recruitment very poor, wages they dish out is even worse. He would also like an obligation to buy on the new lad even though he's never heard of him or seen him play. since clement arrive at the club he has broken a few records. Ross county had never beaten us, motherwell had not won at ibrox since 97, had never conced 4 at home in europa league. 1st manager simce 1914 not to win in his 1st 6 games v celtic, worst away form in 19 years. Not sure what there is to be positive about. The whole club is a shambles. John who is very in the know said last year that its not good. Even last week he said it will get worse before it gets better. But its ok when it comes from John. Some Rangers fans now just accept were 2nd best as acceptable. Be a happy clapper all you want. But Rangers being so poor domestically for well over a decade now is awful and the standards at the club have slipped so much even little things like the players wearing tracksuits these days to away games. I vent on here instead of social media.
18 Jan 2025 09:20:19
My star but you have pulled me up 1st and foremost saying why shouldn't we have an obligation ??.
18 Jan 2025 09:24:53
Completely agree paul. I see I'm Coldo again and you're a tim?, yesterday it was Cameron or both of us?. You wouldn't think we are 13 points behind on the park now, that'll be progress then. This guy is endless??.
18 Jan 2025 09:25:07
Lol paul ??? and you're someone that has never said anything positive about Rangers since I'm been on here.
18 Jan 2025 09:28:25
Who said obligation to buy, more nonsense again Paul ? what I've actually said was i would like an opinion to sign him after his loan, not once have i said obligation, fs man.
18 Jan 2025 09:34:25
the difference is John provides good information and knows it is going to get better. all you posts are that our current players aren't good enough and anyone suggested is never Rangers class. which is why I asked you who you think is within the very low budget we have. really easy to be negative on everything but much more difficult to see the way the club wants to head but will take time.
and I think the leat of our worries is players not wearing reffing brown brogues to a match. society is changing and not always for the bets but it is 2025 now and not 1925.
18 Jan 2025 09:35:22
Personally I'd like the Fernandes deal to be an 18 month loan with and option to buy included.
18 Jan 2025 10:14:16
Good post Paul.
You wouldn't think that on the park now? Our away form his been horrendous recently Mystar so yes you do see it a couple of home wins doesn't change that.
We were told by PS no short term transfers so they need to be at least an option.
18 Jan 2025 10:18:14
I hope this is a straight signing.
Hate loans.
He is valued at 1milloon euros so let's lay the money out and get him in perm now.
18 Jan 2025 10:32:28
the reason we had obligations for dio and cortes was just a way for rangers to defer their payment to summer. rangers were wanting to buy them anyways,
both in my opinion will turn out to be good buys and both are young.
18 Jan 2025 10:33:06
Griegers you're coldo 100%, you think we don't know you like running a couple of users names at the same time, you keep posting under this user name and let everyone see who you are, but I can guarantee you now you're that childlike figure.
18 Jan 2025 10:35:57
Coldo we can see for ourselves thier isn't much of a difference on the park, we just destroyed your team, maybe 13 points in the league but any natural had us winning that cup as well before that punishment.
18 Jan 2025 10:46:26
Star you said obligation in this thread.
I'll quote exactly what you said. Why sign a loan player without an obligation Paul? So you obviously believe we should sign a loan player with an obligation.
18 Jan 2025 10:49:44
Storm you would certainly wouldn't think that with games against them now, that is what I'm saying, we mirror or home form with away form and we win the league very easily.
18 Jan 2025 11:19:00
Coldo yes but only referring to what Scott said, I have only said option to buy.
18 Jan 2025 11:21:22
We're all Coldo because we disagree with you. So I'm meant to be Cameron aswell? you're nuts mate?.
The games against them mean nothing when we drop points at Dundee, St Mirren etc. That's why it does look we are 13 points behind.
18 Jan 2025 11:30:42
There is an option to buy the boy has signed.
18 Jan 2025 11:39:20
Coldo lol, games against them mean nothing lol, what about the cup game, you ever seen your team hammered like that before?
Nope not all Coldo, but you're 100% that childlike figure, many times you ran a couple of users names at the same time, pure fool on a man.
18 Jan 2025 11:42:55
Am nuts ? but a tim with well over a hundred users names on the Rangers site but coldo ain't nuts???.
18 Jan 2025 11:57:08
No you were not My star. You asked why not because you agreed. You're fooling no one. You are back tracking again.
18 Jan 2025 12:53:48
Griegers you say hands burnt with Cortes and Dio but I think both deals were players rangers were willing to buy there and then, obligation just kicking that purchase down the road for cash and p&l purposes.
18 Jan 2025 12:55:46
Star I don't know why you even bother replying, just ignore and read on.
18 Jan 2025 12:56:14
Medic Medic, 2 days in no sign of improvement, there coming to take u away aha⛑️? ???.
18 Jan 2025 13:11:05
At 7.33 my star you said. Why sign a loan player without obligation.
18 Jan 2025 13:14:36
??? Fork that man just burst my balls mate, medic day did make me smile though daft arse ?.
18 Jan 2025 13:27:10
Scotty that was my plan mate, reply to him without knowing it him but he's worked out in a post or 2, going to stop now, but said that before lol.
18 Jan 2025 15:19:12
Not sure not scoring 4 at home in Europa is a big issue.
18 Jan 2025 15:39:53
Star??.
18 Jan 2025 17:11:16
Yes Paul asking you why not? surely you know I was referring to what Scotty had said about obligation, I said many times option to sign him not obligation.
18 Jan 2025 21:43:11
Relax everyone :)
It's an option to buy not an obligation.
