Mail Sport suggesting we're in to Sasa Zdjelar. Defensive Midfielder playing in Russia at the moment and out of contract in the summer. Seems to fit a profile / template for our rumours of late, though this guy loks to have a possible contract extension in place.
Another rumour floating around relates to Abdel Abqar 25 year old CB playing for Alaves in spain. Again, contract up in summer. May be linked due to the Igamane effect (eg because he's Morocan) . Looks like a pretty enticing one to me.

We still trying to replace Bassey lol, how much will we spend until we have a CB with his qualities again . 30 million, 60 million, he should never have been sold in the first place, have we benefited hugely from that in the long run, no.
At least Ajax and Fulham know a world class CB when they see one, that is why between them they spent 45.5 mill euros on Bassey in just over 12 months.
