So it won't be a sit down question and answer session? Time will tell but expect fans to be disappointed.

09 Jan 2025 13:58:47
why should it be a question and answer. its a statement he said he was making.

09 Jan 2025 14:06:01
Ominous.

09 Jan 2025 14:11:56
No onewalter I'm hearing it will be a recorded internal statement/ interview with a few carefully selected questions.

09 Jan 2025 14:11:56
So does this mean the club have released a statement saying we will release a statement?

09 Jan 2025 14:13:21
Ows no one said it would be a sit down with questions.

09 Jan 2025 14:24:10
It'll be along the lines of - we're skint, maybe get loans in. Everyone is for sale. Thanks for your support.

09 Jan 2025 15:15:16
three cheers I think actually clement released a statement to say there would be a statement but now the club have confirmed there will be a statement. I suspect that PC will get asked questions by the press afterwards to only say it isn't his position to comment.

09 Jan 2025 15:20:04
Or there's klingons on the club deck and the borg have assimilated Koppen we need to sell dilithium crystals to fund a rebuild.

09 Jan 2025 15:22:57
I would expect to be told that we want to offload players before we sign more other than possible loans and pre contracts.

The question I would like the board to be asked is why were we spending so much on Edmiston House and the Copeland Road
Also why were we paying players such high wages with little or no return

It certainly looks like the board have made a complete arse of the past few years.

Let’s hope these new appointments can sort this all out and also bring in fresh investment.

Coop11, the Copland Road development allowed our club to record the largest home attendance in several decades. Whilst this is a large outlay over a number of years to find the construction, it will also see an increase in our potential revenues over many more years into the future. Both this and the EH development will be key revenue streams to help with FFP.

09 Jan 2025 17:20:19
we also couldn't spend the money from that on players I think due to FFP. another revenue stream which will pay for itself and future legal funding for players.

09 Jan 2025 17:27:02
Can't see your point there coop11,
Upgrading our match day facilities is a must and was probably needed. Think the board over last couple of years have been trying to bring more revenue in but still react to trying to appease fans with ready made players, when MB didn't work out, the PC and Koppen era pushes towards yound up and coming talent both from scotland and around the world. That along with moving on the bulk of an aging squad takes time and patience.

09 Jan 2025 17:49:16
It was an assumption on my part storm.

09 Jan 2025 18:44:06
That makes sense 1872BLUE except, how long will it take those couple of thousand extra seats at OF games to pay back what was spent and the fact that if we keep downgrading the squad and fail to challenge for trophies then we won`t fill the seats we have never mind extra ones.

There has been a statement to say there will be a statement, reminds you of Yes Minister and we all know how clueless they were. reminds you of board. let's hope new CEO and chairman are as embarrassed as fans and have found some way of getting club back on track. because at present we are going nowhere fast.
