I like the player, and we need more home grown youngsters in the team. But to me he looks like a no 8, and we already have Diomande and Barron that I think play there. I don't see where he goes in to the first it second choice 11 unless we're thinking of playing one if them forget forward as a 10 (and are they really better than Bajrami or Hagi in there? ) .
While good, and relatively cheap, I think we have none priorities at CB, DM, LW, and CF.

Would be very happy with this, great addition to the squad to replace Lawrence/ Dowell types and hopefully would continue to develop over time and push for a starting spot.
Only query would be the fee to get him now - would imagine Dundee would be due at least £350k compensation if he signed a pre-contract with us given what the Barron compensation fee has ended up being. So would be surprised if they accepted as little as that for us to take him in January?

Cameron has all the attributes to kick on at Rangers, better players around him and getting more of the ball will suit him greatly, said beforeHe always sticks out when he has played against us, happy to get him in this window.

I think he’ll be a good squad player, he’ll get minutes but I don’t think he’s replacing anybody from the starting 11, unless somebody is leaving.

Might not be starter. Think first choice would be those who played Thurs. But certainly improves bench and could get plenty of game time. He's a good wee player.

Cameron impressed in the recent game at Ibrox against us. Comfortable on the ball, can pick a pass, beat a man and has an eye for goal. What's not to like. Its irrelevant who he replaces, he makes the squad stronger, adds competition which makes the team stronger. Good business imo and he's knows the league.

Tom, a bit off with the dio comment, the lad has played in Denmark before coming to us. Think they have worse winters than ours.
And regarding Cameron, we need a much better squad than we currently have to compete with Celtic, not just the starting 11. And he definitely improves the squad.

He's go's right in to the team before dowell and will get more minutes and he will be competition for barron.

Barron didn't play regularly 90 mins b4 coming to us, was one of our better players first quarter of season and he'll get better and better IMO, good attitude and work rate, bit raw but will be good honest player for us, raskin and dio starting now because there's a bit of competition for places and they're playing well, long may it continue, Barron and Cameron could do the job of Dowell for 2/ 3 of his wages combined.

Baz Barron was a regular starter for Aberdeen last season for the last 20 or so games but they played hi. alongside an experienced midfielder in Shinnie and he was a good player for them. he will definitely get better with coaching though.
It wouldn't be the first time a young player comes to a club and improves and holds down a first team place. who would have thought Luke McCowan would have got 5 starts and 10 sub appearances in the Celtic midfield before he signed.

Mystar I have no problem with Barron he has potential but whether the comes or not is up to him I just didn’t like folk going way overboard at start of season as if he was the 2nd coming of Barry Ferguson and I have been proven to be correct.
I think Cameron will be a far better player for us than Barron and have the better career.

Agree with Angus n Storm, he has a gd base level in tenacity/ strength needs to learn technically, needs a guiding hand to go from gd to great imo.

Defo need 2 cm in look at our bench dowell and Barron I like Barron but dowell is mince. If a player gets injured that would leave dowell as our only spare cm that scares the S##t out me.

Decent young spl player that will hopefully have similar affect as young Barron. Decent squad player.
