I hope this rumor is just that, not much truth into it: The owner of Rapid Bucharest (who wanted Hagi on loan at the beginning of the season) became the majority shareholder of the Seria A club Genoa and he wants to have Ianis Hagi as his first marquee signing.

It all depends whether his recent recall has put him back in the long term plans, if not we need to get somebody to buy him rather than him walk away from nothing. If he`s a marquee signing we should get decent money.
He has done well since he got back in and has made a big improvement with his movement and work rate.

I would like Hagi to be a Rangers player for as long as possible. It is not coincidental that we have success when he plays. In January 2021 we were 6 points ahead of Celtic when he got injured, we lost that title by 4 points. More recently, most of us were calling our team rubbish and Clement an impostor, but after Hagi came back into the team, it is all "sunny ways" and see a path forward.

Not trying to get in to an argument here mate, great was maybe wrong wording but I recall us having a few debates over it at the time. Selling Hagi for 1 or 2m is ludicrous in my opinion. Celtic manage to pull in 3-4m for fringe players yet we seem to let the majority go for nowt and wonder why we are skint! He’s an international player, 2 footed, creative and decent at set plays/ penalties. 1m? c'mon man who we signing whose better for a mill John? Love to hear it.

Hagi is decent player who makes our squad stronger - however, he was very close to leaving in the last transfer window and pulled the rug on move due to late interest from Florentina - this has a pretty negative impact on us as we had to pull out a loan move late in the window.

Hagi is the least of our worries. The guy puts in 100% every game. I'm amazed folk are so quick to move him on. We're a weaker team right now without him. Is he Gazza, No. But of all the dross we've had to put up with, recently he's not one i'd be quick to get rid of.

Pure and utter lies storm, never once mentioned Lammers before he signed for Rangers, Sands is still a young player lol man, plus the fact I never once said he'll have a great career what i actually said was he'll still have a good career not great though, still see him moving to Germany he's been unlucky with injuries this season but he's still his teams best player or one of them and will be back in the USA squad soon, still very highly rated in the MLS.

The reason havi looks better now than he did before, to some people, is he’s being played in the 10. His favourite and best position. Before he was out on the right the false winger position so want playing to his potential
Havi is a very good no10. Won’t get many better 10s than him playing in Scottish football.

Olaru would cost more than a couple of million, currently valued at 7.5 mill euros, and the current captain of FCSB, has only ever played in the Romanian League, Unlike Hagi who has played in several leagues outside of Romania, Hagi value has crashed from around 6 mill euros to 1.5 mill euros mainly die to his long term horror injury, one he was lucky to make a recovery from, some of you will remember his 1st game back after the injury and him scoring a goal on his return match the fact he still chose to remain at Rangers despite the club loaning him out even though he was fit to play for us, (Clearly to avoid paying the pre agreed wage increase - Don't offer it if you have no intentions of paying it) he still held out for a spot in the 1st team again, and he is the one who dropped the bonus in order to play again, would our point difference and lack lustre perfomances up until recently, have been the same had the club done the right thing and played Hagi from the start of last season never mind this season, if a club manage to sign Hagi for a measly 1 mill, then we got ripped again.
None of our players can be seen as longterm players, as any club with the right offer can buy Igamane, Raskin or Jefte in the winter window providing the club see it as good business.
Whereever he ends up Playing Hagi as a 10 is a no brainer, another reason his potential has been affected playing him as a RW or LW.
For me personally it's Hagi as 1st choice 10 and Bajrami as 2nd choice.

Looking good in the conference league means nothing to Rangers as we don not play in that competition and never have yet, that is Celtics level not ours.
