Heard yesterday at work that Propper is heading back to Holland in January and we have another CB lined up on loan until the summer.
The lad had mixed information about Propper being a loan with obligation and another saying loan with option.

Agree5 Disagree0

20 Nov 2024 19:59:11
Hearing loan with obligation, small profit.

20 Nov 2024 20:19:45
Hopefully it's a left footed cb and just hope he's a good as his partner on the right side then I'd be well happy.

20 Nov 2024 20:25:50
Heres hoping. he's been very very poor.

20 Nov 2024 20:58:26
It's a shame it's never worked out for him but at least they are not wasting time and moving him on. He's not looked comfortable in the spl at all. If he only cost the reported 1.2m and we're making a small profit then it's not the worst outcome.

20 Nov 2024 21:09:08
Simply hasn't worked he's not suited to our game.

20 Nov 2024 21:13:43
Thanks for the info bellshill, hearing any incomings?

20 Nov 2024 21:40:29
Wasn’t he the captain at his previous Dutch club?

I think that the SPL doesn’t suit him like a few others that clubs have signed.

E. g. Lammers, Itten, Alvez,

20 Nov 2024 21:41:13
He looked like a stop gap, and hasn't improved our starting 11, so would be happy enough to see this happen. I worry about how many loans we're relying on though. Particularly the one where we don't have any control over next steps as seems to be the case with Cerny and Kasawanijro.

20 Nov 2024 23:39:10
Signing hasn’t worked out, shake hands and move on.

20 Nov 2024 23:40:51
Yo kimbo there's is an option to buy kasanwijro I beleive. Let's just hope he hasn't torn his ACL or hell now be out for the season.

21 Nov 2024 06:22:31
We must be looking at getting another cb in then.

21 Nov 2024 08:54:50
It’s reckoned in football about 40% transfers are deemed a success. Only at our club do we expect 100% successful.

21 Nov 2024 09:58:32
Agree. With Johns point about most transfers don't work out but would also add that since the sales of Kamara I don't think we've had any success at player trading unless I'm forgotten someone.

21 Nov 2024 10:31:14
shame he was one that i thought would do well but alas no. clement has noticed that and not played him unless he has had to, says it all.

21 Nov 2024 12:14:35
Propper always looked like a panic signing due to Goldson going near the start of the season . It hard to believe we could find anyone worse than Connor was in his last season but we somehow managed it. You can`t win tough games in Scotland with a centre back and a centre forward with no physical presence.
Just hope they can move him on and bring in an actual left sided, physical centre back with a bit of pace .

21 Nov 2024 14:39:17
Didnt know anything about the guy before he signed. But surely koppen and clement are aware that a slow defender won't cope too well up here. Especially against celtic. We need legs all over the park.

21 Nov 2024 14:56:24
We don’t expect 100% John we would like more than 5% success rate tho which is the way it’s been since Gerrard left.

21 Nov 2024 14:56:31
Not an issue depending what u expect him to do. Weir was very slow.

21 Nov 2024 15:07:08
Didn’t he treble his wages by coming to us or something? Why would he leave unless it was to one of the top Dutch teams?

21 Nov 2024 15:19:25
Wishy 5% lol, Bajrami for 3.5m great singing, Diomande 4.5m can see flashes in him that really impressed me, Jefte for 800k unbelievable signing for that fee, Cerny very good signing, Propper get out money back, Kasanwirjo liked what I seen from him, Igamana 1.8m, would love to hear your opinion on these if we only get 5% correct.

21 Nov 2024 15:36:49
Wishy gerrad signed over 40 players in 3 years how many where a success?

21 Nov 2024 15:37:27
Wishy, Gerard signed over 40 players how many where successful?

21 Nov 2024 15:43:08
Signing even.

21 Nov 2024 16:00:35
Im sorry, I'm just not seeing anything in Igamane which makes me think he's going to be a success.

Goes without saying, hope he rams those words down my throat! And I'll fully support the boy whenever he's on the park.

21 Nov 2024 16:25:44
Asked about today to see if I could get any info on Proper, but there doesn't seem to be any chat about him potentially leaving.

21 Nov 2024 18:42:48
My Star, Bajrami may turn out to be a good signing but hasn`t shown much up to now . Igamane is a raw youngster and never worth the money we spent on him, Nsiala struggling in the B team, Diomande has been a dreadful signing, he doesn`t create, doesn`t score, constantly gives the ball away and generally lacks the discipline needed to play in a holding role. What does he do well and more to the point what did we see in him to spend £4.5 million. Add in Silva who was an awful signing, likewise Propper, a reserve goalkeeper who contributes nothing and Cortes who is always injured and Mr Koppens success rate drops dramatically, maybe not to 5% more like %33 but that's still not good.

21 Nov 2024 21:01:03
Igamana has potential wslgers and Rangers wanted Cortes before Koppen was even here Brown scouted him around a year previous playing for his club in Colombia, Nsiala no one knows about him yet but supposedly impressive in b team, Bajrami will be a top player for us and 3.5m is very cheap for a player with his creativity, see plenty of potential in Diomande, wait a few months and see about your 33% success rate and 50% I'm well happy with but in my opinion it will probably be above 50% with they players mentioned, hopefully Propper goes in January and a left footed cb signs.

22 Nov 2024 11:51:44
All these successful signings mystar this summer how are we 9 points behind Aberdeen?

22 Nov 2024 12:37:22
Let see where we are at the end of the season wishy, remember we lowered our wages budget by millions in the summer,50% of they players will be a success which is very good going.

22 Nov 2024 12:58:01
The reason we're 9 points behind Aberdeen is because out of the 11 league games they've won 10 and drew once a great record for old firm clubs that is why wishy.

22 Nov 2024 13:10:14
My Star, the original comment was about successful so far and for me that is 33% at best. Igamane is as raw as an onion, potential or not to pay £1.7million for a player who should be no nearer a first team place than Lovelace or even Gentles is a criminal waste of money at this time. Nsiala has struggled in the B team, have a look back at the goals they have lost this season, and you are in a very small minority if you can see anything in Diomande.

I would love you to tell us what you see that we don`t. Don`t care who scouted Cortes last year he was signed on Koppens watch, twice. At a time when money is tight and we have lost a lot of experienced players, success is measured by players making an impact in the first team which is only Barron, Jefte and to a lesser extent Cerny.

22 Nov 2024 14:11:54
Mystar a successful rangers signing is someone who wins trophies and beats Celtic. So far we have 0 successful signings from the summer and until we stop being 2nd and 3rd best it will stay that way. Take your standards off the floor your embarrassing the fanbase. Also stop making excuses about being 9 behind Aberdeen lol. They spent less than us and have managed to win 10 and draw one so why can’t we with all our succcesful signings?

22 Nov 2024 14:23:41
Lesser extent but Cerny is one of our best players this season, I can see many positive things in Diomande and clearly you can't wslgers, Cortes was impressive in a couple of games last season they players signed in the summer will have a higher success rate than 33% let's just wait and see.

22 Nov 2024 20:58:31
My Star let's not wait and see, we are talking about who has been a successful signing now.
Once again I challenge you to tell us all what are the positive things you see in Diomande .
Cerny has been good at times and terrible in almost equal measure, his miss against Lyon was Van Vossenesque, he has taken a long time to settle, far longer than a youngster you say we are all getting carried away over .
As for Cortes, he impressed in a couple of games last season then got a bad injury, off the back of which we have committed £4.5 million. He has now been injured a further twice, so there is no measure by which you can call him a success.

22 Nov 2024 21:18:20
Wslgers the positive things a see in Diomande are the way he just drops his shoulder and loses his man very easy and gets out of most situations and always has a killer ball in his game and a very good range of passing and also like digs and he covers back very well heard some say he's a lazy player but he's far from it in my opinion how many times has he won the ball deep in defence.

There you go mate.

22 Nov 2024 21:24:06
Let's see where Diomande is playing when he's 25 certainly be a better league than where he is now.

23 Nov 2024 12:23:05
My star, interesting viewpoint, I think I can remember him playing one killer ball ( which Dessers missed) and in fact I would have said his passing is poor, his assist numbers are very low if any at all.
I have seen him drop his shoulder and get away but its is usually followed by running into the next man or trying a Cruyff turn back to an opponent. His decision making is terrible.
I would agree that I would never call him lazy but I just don`t see what his main assets are and what position he would hold down in a midfield.
Hope you`re right about him and will hold my hands up if you are but a success so far, definitely not.

23 Nov 2024 12:39:57
2 Assist this season wslgers, just wait and see mate.

23 Nov 2024 17:08:46
We are Aberdeen so much better than us if the squad is brilliant?
