Is anyone else picking up or hearing that investment coming via joint parties of The Easdales and Kyle Fox looking to partner and buy major shares of 51%.

Agree5 Disagree0

12 Oct 2024 08:12:33
The Easdales! Too funny.

12 Oct 2024 08:57:01
Those two crooks should never be allowed to set foot in Ibrox Stadium.

12 Oct 2024 08:59:01
Touchy subject, but where are you seeing this, nothing online anywhere.

12 Oct 2024 09:31:15
Absolute rubbish.

12 Oct 2024 10:10:27
They can’t force the shareholders to sell ?.

12 Oct 2024 10:45:30
Spyder does your source say it is investment as in more money coming to the club or just purchasing shares from current holders. if latter then not much benefit to us initially at least.
However like Fork not seeing anything online and would like to know the type of source if you are willing to share.

12 Oct 2024 10:48:33
???? Naw, but my spidy senses are tingling, spyder, and that means only one thing. Hmmmmmmm!

12 Oct 2024 11:47:13
Buying shares of someone is not investment in the club! And, I might be wrong but because of FFP, they can't just plough money in either?

12 Oct 2024 11:55:29
You haven't shaved Ss??.

12 Oct 2024 12:00:46
Tbh are the easdales the villians they were made to look?

12 Oct 2024 12:27:30
Rangers56,they partnered up with Ashley and the rest of the charlatans to let them asset strip and nearly destroy out club, so I would say yes.
A rumour partnering them up with Fox who was rejected by the board a few months ago sounds like somebody just trying to wind up our support with nonsense.

12 Oct 2024 13:23:06
Not quite, Fork, but I could be doing with a Chas.
No, my spidy senses tingle when we have an infiltrator on here posting sensationalist, scaremongering, tripe like this.

12 Oct 2024 13:35:30
Anno mate just a wee bit of riske humour to wash away the green ?.

12 Oct 2024 20:48:48
maybe someone in the know can tell you how much an investor can invest before breaching FFP but it is right that noone can just walk in and say oh hear is 100M to spend on a couple of players. so we need other ways to generate revenue, whether its tv deals, sponsorship or player trading that's the only way to do it. Ofcourse getting into CL would be great as well.

13 Oct 2024 07:07:45
I think, but may be wrong, you can use 70% of the income that the club can generate, through revenue streams generated by investment. Others with a better grasp may know, Angus this may be one for you to get your teeth into bud??.

13 Oct 2024 07:50:26
The financial sustainability regulations only counts for Europe Fork. From the end of season 2025/ 26, a club must ensure that their ‘squad cost ratio’ – the amount they accumulatively spend on transfer fees, wages, player amortisation, agent fees and manager fees – must be equal to or less than 70 percent of their turnover.

13 Oct 2024 08:14:09
sorry Fork should also have said any money invested doesn't count as revenue, soft loans can at moment but Man City case recently said that down south they couldn't any more. sponsorship I think is already looked at to see if it is value for money, e. g. you can't give £10 for match day ball sponsorship.

13 Oct 2024 08:51:04
Aye so wasnt far out with the 70%, but can investment lead to generated revenue income that can then be used?

13 Oct 2024 12:36:27
By no means an expert on this but yes if, as someone else has previously said, you put it into infrastructure and other projects which leads to a source of revenue' i. e. you have a larger income of which 70% would then be more. as recent examples the new seating in the Copeland Road Stand and Edmonton House.
and I meant to say £10 million for match ball sponsorship as it would be deemed excessive if it came form an associated source of the club.

13 Oct 2024 13:41:38
They tried to muscle in on Morton with big plans and were told to eff off by a right thinking, clean and honest board of directors .

Walt Disney couldn't have come up with anything as ridiculous as those 2, no even Dick Dastardley, but 'Dick' would have suited the idiot brother who is brainless.

13 Oct 2024 14:23:37
Or the "Ant Hill Mob" sorry that's our board??, OK I'm only kidding?.

13 Oct 2024 15:23:44
i hope this helps but fox is partnering up with no one. they are a legitimate front company for deals, unlike ellis, run out of a condominium building in new york. one partner provides financing for deals another has a husband who is a sports lawyer with a lot of contacts in Europe. fox herself, runs the company and probably has limited knowledge of footballw and rangers specifically. i think rangers sued in florida as she is mostly based here in the winter. can't imagine she would want to be involved again. notoriety is not their business model. successful purchase flows are.

14 Oct 2024 08:14:54
Surely the few previous posts snd the name spyder hints at someone from the dark side setting a trap?

14 Oct 2024 09:13:13
A "Trapdoor Spyder' ??.

14 Oct 2024 12:59:42
think you are right baz. my version was being more polite than total p. i wanted to post lol.

14 Oct 2024 16:56:33
Fork, you are encouragable ?.

14 Oct 2024 17:44:30
Anno it's like tourettes??.

15 Oct 2024 15:11:03
Yeah Ron and Reg will get Shankland signed possibly as a part time bus driver too for a wee bit extra income, give it up with the Easedale nonsense we are in enough bother without bringing in low life crooks.

I have been in the City and even in Scotland in the last couple of weeks and I am hearing nothing new on the Investment front. The long time rumour of investment by an existing shareholder, that suggested it could be Gibson is still doing the rounds, John had suggested previously, if my memory serves me correctly, that he could be appointed to the Board, Vice Chair.

I don't believe that the Easdale's is an option, even if they were keen on investing, as the current Board won't let them in.

I have also heard rumour that King has an Investor that would be willing to buy his stock but would also want to buy out Parks however Parks is not willing to sell. (Personally, and while I would like to see the back of the Park's family, I see no benefit to the club if a new shareholder simply buys out existing players unless they are willing to invest further in the Club and have professionals lined up for the Prime roles to take the Club forward.

I was told before to look for some movement just prior to the AGM. I with with baited breath!

Right now we are at best standing still which is certainly not in our best interests.
