John or any other poster with info regarding my post here, please feel free to contribute ?I've been speaking about an hour ago to a fellow rangers shareholder who usually gets good information that adidas are in talks with rangers about taking over from castore, as our kit manufacturers starting next season.
He tells me adidas are the favourites and at the head of other sportswear manufacturers including our current ones castore, to become our new kit manufacturers on a 5 year deal which he was told was £6.5million a season ie. £32.5million over the 5 years. ?
He also told me that puma are possibly taking over from adidas as celtic's new kit makers starting next season and thus possibly why adidas are desperate to get the rangers manufacturing deal. ?
He tells me he's been told puma offering the eastend mob a whooping £7 million a season over a five-year deal, which is obviously £35million in total ?Has anyone else heard adidas are now the frontrunners to become our new kit makers after this season ?.

Hopefully not. Their kits are disgusting.

I'm not in the know or anything but if this us true it would be a tremendous kit deal for us linking us with a big name manufacturer again. Just my opinion.

Have no idea, but would assume we'd put it out to tender.

Adidas Kits are some of the nicest I've seen this season. Arsenal and Real Madrid come to mind. Not to mention they are the manufacturer of many of our most Classic kits.

WeeRedVan, Adidas have got far more wrong than right with all there strips this season, some are worse than bad, but they pay the biggest fee I'm happy with that.

Am sure John said going out to tender in October.

It's whoever comes up with the most money gets the contract.

Trouble with Adidas is that when they come up with an idea, all their strips get it. The big horrible vertical stripes on the shorts which continue onto the jersey is an example . They have wasted Arsenal's strip by putting these on the shorts and continuing on to their jersey, in blue. Now we all love blue but Arsenals kit is red and white and the blue looks awful.
The design works on some kits but shouldn't be on them all. Their other problem is that whoever designs the second and third kits and training gear appears to be on LSD. They make our black top this season and red one last season look plain.
