Seems Hagi maybe playing again for 1st team.
15 Sep 2024 09:41:44
Clement is saying otherwise, Baxterboy.
15 Sep 2024 09:57:59
How'd you know that?
15 Sep 2024 10:57:47
Time will tell, not really clements decision, its the board that have failed to honor the deal and extension clauses, all on them, Hagi has remained professional throughout this farce, and shocking the way he has been treated after all he has been through with his horrendous injury and recovery.
Not like we are brimming with quality 10's at the moment, our main rivals have flew out the traps and have 5 clean sheets with no goals against in the first 5 games, 3 more clean sheets and they take Mcloughlins 7 clean sheets/ all time scottish league record off us, and they are not at their full potential yet, pretty clear to see we need any decent talent we have at our disposal right now, like Hagi or not he offers us something we do not have, Bejrami can't be expected to be the only quality 10 we have when we are playing in multiple competitons and we will have months ahead where we will get backed up with fixtures, Hagi deserves his chance, get the deal sorted and get him back in the first team squad, it's beneficial to both club and player, as his value increases if he hits his best form again and could secure us more funds for the rebuild.
15 Sep 2024 10:58:56
Not even on the bench. Clement did say that nothings changed.
15 Sep 2024 11:00:39
Youngblood, i'm only repeating what was said in todays paper.
15 Sep 2024 11:16:09
The paper Baxter ??. Aye ok.
Laudruphagi remained professional in all this? Aye he got his dad and agent to hawk him around Europe in the summer.
15 Sep 2024 11:29:44
Falling for the lying press. The psychological warfare never fails to land on us.
15 Sep 2024 11:32:45
Not even close to the truth LaudrupHagi.
15 Sep 2024 11:33:31
Wouldn't rely on any info, other than confirmed player deals, when it comes to the backup bog roll papers.
Storm Would you stay in a job, after legally confirming a pay rise / bonuses as part of your agreed contract, then your employer backs out at a key moment, because they decide not to honor their half of the bargain? of course you wouldn't only a mug allows themselves to be treated that way, prior to offering to accept a reduced deal which he does not have to do and could sue the club for failing to keep their half of the legally agreed contract, of course anyone would take steps to work out the best future for his career.
You would want the best for your any member of your family would you not, so can understand some of his fathers frustration. but we all know the papers will twist any story / rumour into something it never was, sensationalism sells papers always has always will.
15 Sep 2024 12:58:38
Laudruphagi. I would like to see them sue Rangers. They are keeping their half of the legally agreed contract by paying him the wages he is due prior to playing his 100th game. if he plays that the he is due the wage rise and then, and only then, if Rangers don't pay the increase would they be in breach of the contract. Assuming that is that the contract doesn't say they must play him when he reaches 99. if it did then i'm sure we would have seen court case already.
we don't need papers to spout garbage when fans forums do.
15 Sep 2024 14:17:57
we still owe the club he was bought from 1.4 million that is one issue, obviously the clubs struggling financially, hence us not honouring the agreed wage rise on his 100th game, or paying what we owe KRC Genk, the board got the club into this financial mess, not Hagi's doing, he club is a business therefore it is the clubs responsibility to honour any agreed contracts they legally offered.
Said many times forcing out good managers (Gerrard / Gio) and continually selling our best young talents and letting valuable players walk for nothing would hurt us in the long run, now we are seeing that in effect, we have been rubbish this season, Facts.
So why do two 1 year extensions on his original 4 year deal?
Why not let hagi walk for free at the end of his 4 year contract, instead of letting him rot in the B team, the clubs a mess, the teams a mess, the boards a mess, and the often talked about player trading model has not worked, kid yourselves on all you want it is working LMFAO, it's there for all to see in black and white, we are not far off the same level we were when Gerrard arrived to save our arses back then, 5 steps forward, 8 steps back every season that is the clubs real policy, we will be lucky to finish 3rd this season at the current rate, another long boring drawn out 1-0 win, we will get slaughtered in Europe this year., right now we have 2 rising talents, Igamane and Barron, rest of the team look bang average with clements clueless tactics, stand by my bet he will be sacked before december.
15 Sep 2024 14:19:11
EHL2020 So what is the truth then mate?
You seem to know but have posted nothing in response.
15 Sep 2024 14:36:34
Just utter nonsense from you LH.
Obviously you like the player and that’s up to you but I don’t want him anywhere near our 1st team ever again. It wasn’t papers that were hawking about Europe it was his agent. You don’t need to believe it.
15 Sep 2024 15:03:23
Hagi is better than what’s currently in our squad, we remain very thin and short of any quality at all.
15 Sep 2024 15:24:40
Stromtrooper1 - Its an opinion perfectly normal on here, your well known for posting reliable information ay mate LOL, nae need to have a greet aboot it.
Wether i like the player or not has nothing to with the fact the club have extended his contract twice, not honored his wage increase as agreed, deliberately loaned him out at 99 games after his longterm injury recovery to avoid paying the extra 8k a week and still owe Genk 1.4 million of the transfer fee, its the clubs issue not the players, not hard to work out.
Hardly rocket science to understand you play and pay the player his value increases, and he becomes a more sellable asset, how many players have we bought that have been left to rot in a clubs B team?
If playing Ianis increases our win ratio, especially in europe we make money by advancing to next stage from the wins, more money, more resale value for our players, more funds for the rebuild, and maybe we could actually pay the money we owe to KRC Genk that was agreed in the deal.
pretty easy logic to understand.
allowing him to rot in the b team decreases his value, damages his potential and career, if the club don't want the player then release him on a free, another club will give him the chance we clearly are not going to, and if we still have to pay Genk, then that is the clubs fault for continuing with a failed player trading model, that has seen 10's of millions of players walk on free's or for shockingly low transfer fees in some cases at a 10th of their actual value.
15 Sep 2024 15:31:13
cant believe there are people out there that still buy and read newspapers.
15 Sep 2024 15:40:34
LH the story is that we don't owe Gent any money unless he starts another game. Hagi is still getting paid. at least stop letting your liking the player get in the way of facts.
15 Sep 2024 16:11:35
or you play him and he doesn't play well and his value drops further and no-one wants him. two sides to the viewpoint. If he doesn't get a game for us at all how long before Romania drop him for not being match fit. His agent will soon find him a club.
15 Sep 2024 16:15:27
He ain't playing again and all the guesswork on here won't change it, he wanted away no manager in Europe or even Gerrard wanted him for nowt. Romanian clubs were interested for nowt but thinks he's too good for that league the only he's done anything of note in, other than around 45 mins with us.
15 Sep 2024 16:17:34
How are rangers not honouring the contact. They are paying him his wages that don’t go up until he starts another game?
15 Sep 2024 16:22:13
Certainly some love on here for the player, because there ain't much love for him at any other football clubs.
15 Sep 2024 16:26:34
Totally agree with you LH. Whoever took the decision on dropping him to the B team, still paying lots and wages and hoping to sell him for millions is not very intelligent, to say the least.
What are we expecting, that someone will buy him from the B team in January and pay us millions? Let's be clear, this is a loss-loss situation, and unless someone gets a neuron working is damaging the player's career and Rangers reputation.
15 Sep 2024 16:30:13
Talking about newspapers Tt1212 would have something to say about that, wonder if he'll come back on.
15 Sep 2024 17:41:10
Change of user name might help one on here .
15 Sep 2024 17:43:55
Btw do we know why so many of our managers didn't and don't want him, maybe they are all as daft as his old man who said he's our only international when we have about 14 . is it the drink?
15 Sep 2024 18:22:56
How can you be in breach of contract if he does not play, we are not publicly saying he isn’t playing because of the clause whether that’s true or not, How could you prove that if the club states that he is surplus to the team now because he’s not deemed good enough.
No way is this the first time something like this has happened, has a club been taken to task for something similar in the past?
15 Sep 2024 20:01:04
Let’s get real,
Hagi’s not required because we have a team full of superstars that are far better than any other team in our league, and that’s a fact!
16 Sep 2024 11:42:39
C02,maybe Hagi isn't required as he simply isn't good enough, he's suddenly became a good player when injured in many peoples eyes, also this he's been doing well for Romania is more nonsense again he had a good 45 minutes at the euros.
16 Sep 2024 11:47:00
With the reported 1 million add on to his previous team. hagi won't play again never mind his extra wages. Not clements desicion. If the board say he's not available for selection he's not available. Simples.
16 Sep 2024 12:34:54
LH it’s not rocket science if you play a player his value increases are you new to football? Value will only increase if he plays well. Hagi is not certain to do that. You like the guy that’s done but a lot of rangers fans don’t.
Also where did I say it was info on hagi? Another ridiculous post by you. It’s common knowledge that his agent banded him about Europe. Can you explain if he is as good as you think he is why only one Romania club came in for him.
16 Sep 2024 12:47:24
Mystar the simple fans can’t understand that tho. They think hagi has turned into messi since he has been away.
16 Sep 2024 12:52:21
Agree storm he tried to tout himself all over Europe but nobody wanted him and now he’s happy to stay. If someone had wanted him he wouldn’t be here.
