Pacey young CB capable of playing across the back line, add sterling to that aswell and we should have enough to cover Soutter and Balogun. It should be good enough for the league atleast.
Lyall Cameron is actually someone i would really like to get, Loves to dribble and has a bit of bite to him, he'd be a decent option for no.10 or as a rotation for Diomande.

We shop in the places we do because
1. We are not regular CL
2. Many of our signings recently have not worked out and are simply being shipped out
3. Even if someone strolled into the club with a 20m wad we still have to adhere to FFP.
As has been clear, money doesn’t guarantee great signings (see Gers and Chelsea! ) . We have actually made some very good signings so far this window and adding a few more (both with experience or with potential) is where we are at.
Have some faith in PC and Koppen please.

My star I think that’s something people are forgetting here. Losing O’Riley is massive for them and they’ll do incredibly well to replace him no matter what they spend. As of right now you look at their team and they’ve signed the 2 loan players from last year and changed goalkeeper. They’re worse than they were and are nothing to be feared at all. Their tails are up just now after a good pre-season and we’ve started a bit shaky but they are very beatable. The signings they may or may not make today mean F all for the weekend as they won’t start. We then don’t play them again for months and have time for our own squad to develop. We win on Sunday then you know what hits the fan for them. The animals in their support are already raging at the board and we have a chance on Sunday to put massive pressure on the arrogant one in charge.

I think (given some of our past export flops at £3m) Miller is a worthwhile investment, if he keeps going can help lead us to trophies and eventually EPL with a sizeable fee. Be sad if we not looking at the real talent in our own backyard.

Wouldnt worry about what they are doing, Idah for 9 mill is honking business. Given Sheffield united signed 3cbs already tells you a lot about how they view him. No signing is a guarantee for us or them regardless of the price tag sometimes the badge is to heavy.

Let’s not try to pretend Celtic will be weaker this season as a whole. they have lost 1 real player and shipped out a lot of dross so far… we’ve lost most of the experienced players in our team and brought in project players… For them Engels will replace oreilly just look at PC comments about the boy when he managed him… they are going to spend about £20 million today on 3 players…. We will struggle to get the 4 minimum players we need in….

Lennon Miller likely off to EPL, my bet would be Liverpool like Ben Doak, then they have the top 2 most talented and valuable young scots they can develop and profit from, we have no youth league now,
Better options for serious development down south or abroad
For the best young scottish talent unforunately for us,
Motherwell will sit tight for 5-6 mill they can get for miller, doubt Rangers or celtic will pay that for Miller.
More chance of us getting Watson, unless the other mob jump in for him first.

Even without O'Reilly their midfield is still far better than ours. They've also have just signed an £11m midfielder. Burying your head in the sand if you think they are weaker.

Rayger Callum McGregor is getting older and had a honking second half of the season last year except when we put absolutely 0 pressure on him in the games by playing Lawrence there. He’s there to be got at and Hatate can’t stay fit for more than a couple months. If we go with Sterling Dio Barron and get properly in about their faces and stuck into them then I have faith we can win the midfield battle which is so important.
O’Riley was by far the best player in the league and to say losing him hasn’t made them worse I don’t agree with. Look at Rodgers recruitment record even when he was at Leicester. It’s absolutely honking so there’s nothing to say these lads he’s bringing in are even going to be good. 9 million on Idah need I say anymore.
