Storm they made the mistake last summer wasting what money we had on overpriced players but Bennett said at the age PC budget wouldn't be affected by beales spending so where's that money.

There is no way Tavernier was told to find a new club that's just ridiculous. He would not still be captain if that was the case . We may be prepared to sell him for the right price but that's true for every player. It makes no sense to tell lots of players players that we may need to play, to find new clubs, they would be just going through the motions until they do and what happens if they don`t go. I would think he was only talking about Hagi and Cantwell and possibly the likes of Lowry and Devine . that's not to say others won`t be sold if we get bids in, they will.

If players out a think players will already be identified to bring in quickly like last two were, the. Window will heat up ove next two weeks for every club and most are in our position all over Europe, players do not want to be in B teams it can be career ending as it puts perspective buyers off that they might do. Same to them further down the line.

I think the way it's been handled is not sounding great. To me it sounds like the board have stipulated to pc which players they preferred to leave to get the wages down and unfortunately for whatever reason that's not transpired which leaves a lot of unhappy and unwanted players on the books. At the same time i appreciate the thinking in telling them early doors their not wanted so they're agents can get the ball rolling and get them out the door at the start of the transfer window but that's kind of backfired now. I'm not involved in football professionally any way but I understand how to motivate people in the work place and telling them their not wanted but they still need to do a job whilst there is not the way to do that so that's making me think that this hasn't been pc's choice to tell them there not wanted and he's been the messenger of the board.

This extension to PC contract is baffling it surely means there is something in the pipeline as there is no justification for offering another year. I was amazed how many on here were pleased with the news I couldn’t see why give a guy another year when he had a 3 year deal and had a bad run of results and unlikely for that too improve significantly.
Our club is completely lacking leadership sorry John Bennett has been a disaster! I’m not sure he was responsible for hiring Beale but he must have had some say, he certainly was in charge when he allowed Beale to signed so many duds.
I really hope for a miracle and we get rid of 3 or 4 players more ideally and bring in some talent from Scotland (no more of this not rangers class crap) and build for next season. Pragmatism and smart business is what is required, it’s a long uncomfortable road ahead.

Depends how it was sold to players, e. g if explained club head to reduce wage bill, and they can all seek new clubs OR your no longer needed so gtf, at first opportunity!
Looks like option 2 was selected by some reactions at end of season and this last few games!

They are slowly but surely wrecking the club. The incontinence is now unforgivable, being run like a McDonald's franchise. Anybody sticking up for them is in with them or really doesn't want our club to succeed.
