Who are they selling Pickford to? Haven`t seen that rumour recently and none of the big EPL clubs are in need of a keeper. In fact I don`t see any EPL clubs that would sign Jack as first choice and why would he go anywhere as second choice, he`s been there and done that.

Wouldn't surprise me if Butland did move on. One of very few who have given they're all while others seem to get away with constant sub standard performances/ attitudes. If a bid comes in that is decent, the club should consider it and tbh he deserves it.

Its one in one out on our current budget, this would no longer be the case if we got a good income in transfer fees. This has been stated. We could also get a couple of players with Butlands salary and save money.

To be fair Kelly is a decent keeper and would do a job with a reliable understudy. To be fair if our squad is good enough the keeper shouldn't have much to do. in theory anyway lol.

Anything less than £10m for Butland is a crime. but then again that wouldn't surprise we with how this board operate.
And of course Butland came here to put himself in the window for other clubs, that does not take a genius to work out lol. Same way every player comes here to do that.
Butland has been great in spells and does give us confidence but the lack of help he has from defenders most games doesn't help him (or his stats) .
If we could sell Butland and good money and bring in some first team good players then great (ones that can defender) .

Butland has said he's happy here, and we don't need to see to raise cash. In the circumstances, I don't see why we would need to accept anything less that £10m from an EPL team. If circumstances change, and he want's away then that's a different matter, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'm still expecting 2 or 3 more players to come in over the next two weeks to replace what's left (and hopefully Cantwell and Hagi move on) . I'd expect the final few days of the window to be hectic as we're at the wheeling/ dealing end of the market without the CL funds. But there's still players out there, in that market, that can improve us.

Jesus fook christ. Try and understand. If Butland is 30k a week and we sell. We make money and we save 30k a week. We then spend some of that money (profit) on let's say two players at 10k a week, so 20k a week total. We have got two new players but saved 10k a week on wages and made a profit in transfer income. So how would we be punished? We have not over spent, we have saved money and made a profit.

To be fair to the Butland sellers, England is infested with keepers so if he fetched a decent price it won't be too hard to find someone at his level or reasonably close to it . Kelly ain't the worst ok not quite at Jacks level but no too far away really.

I'd be OK with butland going don't think he's as essential as people think and funds better spent elsewhere in team.
Had a great season for us but has so. E question marks some recent goals with reactions and for me just as bad as mclaughling when it comes to ball at his feet great shot stopper
Hard to take him going but we have always been good at finding keepers.
