Let's face it we're miles off it, terrible pre season results, rebuild slow progress, going to take at least 3 transfer windows, my problem is and I think someone else mentioned it, the style of play is nowhere to be seen, watched there game earlier, move the ball quick and positional and movement was brilliant, we have a lot more to do than just keep opening up the cheque book, and for people saying we need a new striker is crazy, need more involvement from midfield getting higher up thr pitch and beating able to create chances, wide players need to be able to get in the box aswell and have a chance at goal instead of staying too wide without enough players in the box.

Storm, no need for the sarcasm. Are you telling me you think Dessers is the striker that’s going to score the goals to win us games and lead us to a title? When you’re not playing too well you need your striker to take at least 1 of the chances presented to them and on so many occasions Dessers has failed to do that and it has bitten us on the backside. Game 1 of the season and his poor finishing has already been a key contributor to us dropping points.

He was unlucky on sat. With his header not one of his chances were a sitter. Obviously you have seen me post about dessers as I say he isn’t good enough to be main striker but he isn’t the reason

Missing a 2 yard out header is a sitter storm guy has good movement but his finishing can be terrible or excellent never any middle ground with him.

Storm it’s the fact he does the hard part well and then shoots like most of us would, just whacks it and hopes, straight at keeper or tries the daft lob…no finesse, no trying to find a corner…hit and hope.

As I said I like dessers n he misses some great chances but hrs a decent player too have
But we need a out n out striker to help both dessers n danilio
But look at that team we had out
Bar Barron was same as last season nearly
We lack all over the pitch
Our defence is shocking at times really is
Only saving grace is our keeper
Souter n Davies plus tav in defence
Are terrible most hearts chances wher tavs mistakes
Davies being turned it's pub team stuff
We will never get better with those 3 honest accessment.

Yes the bogtrotters are sharper up front and will add to it, Dessers is good but will never be great, Danilo needs to work off a target he is not a lone striker but could play wide and has done.

Tbf I thought he was really unlucky on Sat, especially with the header which took a wee nick off the defender's head. The other 2 chances ' I thought he brought the ball down brilliantly for the first then rushed the chip when he could have bustled into the space and either been fouled or been able to poke it past the goalie. The second chance, again brought the ball down very well, cut inside and shot when he could have placed the ball into the corner. A decent big honest pro who is a trier. Never wanted it to work more for any other Rangers player and really hope he can start getting on the scoresheet.
