While I think we've got 5 or 6m to spend, I don't think we've got what is needed to sign this guy. And to be honest I'm not even sure where he fits in now we have Cerny. I'm also a little worried we're back in for a singing Beale tried to make given how Dessers and Lammers went.

According to Transfermarkt Whittaker played a fair bit of last season as a CAM so maybe we are looking at him as the Cantwell replacement. Then if we Cerny doesn't work out or we can't keep him you have a ready made replacement for the RW.

Rosco, as it stands I think we'd be better prioritising another CB and a more traditional central midfielder. And this seems a lot for any player in our current state. Just my view, hopefully there's a few more signings t come.

Whittaker is a better player than sima if the opportunity is there to get Whittaker then that’s the way to go.

Don't disagree Jimbo but I do think we are light in the attacking areas and adding more goals from the wings and midfield is crucial if we continue with Dessers and Danilo up top.
Sima has had 2 significant injuries in the last 2 seasons, a multimillion pound move for him would come with risk also. I really liked Sima And still hope he comes back but it inst without risk.

From what I seen of Whittaker last season Behaven I would say he is as good if not better than Sima so it’s certainly not a daft comment.

Don’t think our manager would agreee an extension deal with both hands ties behind his back, think there might be something too this, think we might be surprised with some incomings before the windows shut, getting a few out the door would def help getting a base of players in that can be added to over coming windows.

Belhaven, if you go look at his stats you’ll see he is far better than sima! He carried Plymouth! Most goals, most assists, highest rated player all season! These are players we need in our squad.

Defo wasn't writing Sima off Gvb11, I would take him back in a heartbeat. Just saying that if we spend the amount Brighton are asking for its a risk due to his injury history.

Just watch carefully who Swansea want shot of and pick up a real bargain, who Brighton don't need (we think) must be faulty as they are just a wee club unlike the Welsh giants. And of course always check player stats at that other giant Plymouth .

I have always like the term "strike partner" and would love to see the club consider it . The guy we have is a nonchalant kidder on and it's fairly obvious, also dithers and all of that ain't a good mix .
Power and pace is the requirement and he falls way short as does Danilo who would only work off a target man with aforementioned power and pace .
