He won`t be gone by October because now his pay off would be even bigger and it just shows that the likes of Boyd, McCulloch, the two Fergusons and others know nothing. Everyone has been screaming out for changes, wanting Beales crap signings gone and some of the old guard too, well Clement is doing that but if anybody expects him to change 15 players, I think Boyd said, and get all the replacements in, in one window never mind with 4 weeks of the window still to go, they don`t understand football at all. These guys are just saying things to get clicks or readers or whatever and you don`t do that by being sensible.

I personally think it’s great the club have given him an indication that they have no plans to sack him in October (probably cost us a lot of money if he did) but do you all think that he has deserved this new contract. He hasn't won anything yet and couldn’t beat Celtic.

With you Cullin but I'm not sure how bad it would have to get for him to go now we can't afford to fail and get rid hell be here until 2028 unless someonecomes in for him. I don't think it will though I'm sure PC is the man for the promised land. Football goes in cycles and we're at the start of another.

I wrote a post about critical thinking and questioning sources and got slaughtered by one or two.
It wasn't a dig at our fans, more so these so called journos writing a lot of dung for clicks and scaremongering.
But apparently the media are all good guys and wouldn't do such a thing.

Defo a good thing extending the contract. Shows they are indeed both "all in". Also continuity is always desirable. At least we won't need wholesale changes as new managers don't want the players that are already there. Much less movement in transfer windows etc.

He won the League Cup, qualified out us out of the Europa Groups and at least had a run at the league from 8 points adrift when he took over, using the same players that got Beale sacked .
