Any news on outgoings? Gone quiet on Hagi moving on.
Van Ginkel and Propper deals would seem good moves at this stage. Hopefully both can be signed and pitched straight in against Hearts along with Cerny.
I'd like us also to get a striker in before the weekend and then that gives us a fighting chance for Kiev champions league tie
After that it's moving on Cantwell, Tav, Davies, Dowell and Dessers hopefully with some fees and looking to add 3 or 4 more. Sima, new striker, number 10 and centre back.

I wouldn't be in a rush to sell Dessers. He's a good all round player and now (unlike last season) he has a proper pre-season behind him. This may well make him sharper in front of goal. I also think we'll see a different Lawrence this season now he's had a good pre-season. Written off by too many, I feel.

Not going to lie, I'm finding the potential of bringing in propper and van ginkel pretty underwhelming. Feels a bit last minute dash to get bodies in, rather than a planned out approach to bring down the average age if the squad. Here's hoping we're holding cash back to buy a more exciting name/ prospect, rather than the coffers being empty and we're raking through the bargain bucket.

When we returned none of the players would get near our current team, yes going to be difficult and second favourite as things stand at moment but it’s not Man City we are chasing, rebuild or not if we can get up to a decent standard and avoid injuries we won’t be far away, few more in and out would give me more confidence right enough.

Good point jo. rfc about Cantwell energy although I feel he wasn’t that effective with his pressing and Lawrence again doesn’t have the legs although useful to have in the squad as he will score goals. Hannibal from Man Utd would bring that energy and press but unsure we can afford transfer fee.
Keep forgetting we need to move on Matondo to, inconsistent and on a high wage.

Even with the current shortage of defensive talent at Ibrox playing Davies against Hearts is a recipe for a disaster . He needs punted not played.

Cantwell and Energy? he has energy for himself not for the team. Losing the ball to then run 20 yards to bring him down and give away a freekick isn't energy. He does not engage or participate in any press nor does he track his man. Lawrence cannot do that job either cause his legs are gone. We need a no.10 which wouldn't surprise me if Diomande is played further forward if we bring in another CM.

All the comments about Lawrence "doesn't have the legs" ignore he's missed pre-season or been injured for big parts of it. Judge him this season now he's done the hard yards.

I agree mcminn, i would be in no rush to sell dessers and unless we can sign a better striker as our no.1 striker, then he plays as our no.9 for me ? Even if we sign a better striker, i'd still like dessers to remain part of our first team squad as undoubtedly he can/ will contribute ?.

Ben Davies is better than souttar at defending. Still not great would like to see him moved on Cantwells been hot and cold he does bring energy to the midfield if we don’t replace it you’ll notice it would love Hannibal in and another striker.

Tom Lawrence will be injured more often than he plays. He's too lethargic and lacks pace. No doubt he can strike a ball and has composure but he always looks of the pace. If Lowry caught PC's eye enough to try him in preseason then he must start playing him or get rid as the kids attitude which is suspect, may have a bad influence on the team. For the record, Balogun and WHO should start saturday, if fit Propper, no question!
