If it’s John Fleck I’ll be very disappointed. We do need at least two to three quality first team players to have a good start to the season and stand any chance in qualifiers for UCL. Then if we can progress hopefully another 3 more. But this still relies on us moving on Hagi, Cantwell, Dowell, Davies and Tav for me. I would say Lawrence too but if we get another 10 we need some cover.

Fleck would only be signed at the end of the window to bolster the squad if we needed too and if he accepted a one year deal on a low wage. We've just heard from Bennett about trading models so to sign fleck would rubbish that straight away.

I've spoke to Fleck at the training centre and at the time he wasn't training with the team, was just using the facilities to work on his fitness - something we do for a lot of players with connections to the club.

My Star, I completely agree. A CB and CM (both starters), must be signed today. Especially with the deadline tomorrow for CL qualifiers. We can of course make a couple of changes once the squad is announced but it’s better to get them now and in the squad for the weekend. Boosts everyone connected to the club.

I fully agree Ibrox4me (there you go, we can agree on occasion) that a dominant CH is a must. Look at the tims defence last season. With the exception of Carter V their defence looked as weak as a baby's p, but he was solid, and carried the rest.
