Dont think we have been linked with ant right backs other thab johnson and reuters who I think both now have teams for bext season. Be interesting to see what we do if he does leave, should free up a chunk of wages to sign one or two players.

We already have a ready made replacement in Sterling. Good deal all round for both parties.

Do you guys genuinly think Devine, King and Balogun are good enough back ups for Sterling over the course of a 50+ game season, sterling was one in one out pretty much last season, we need someone to come in want that right back spot as his own and to fight sterling for it.

We're in trouble if people think Devine will be good enough to cover at right back if Tav goes. He couldn't get a game for Motherwell last season.

Lets put thing in perspective, Celitc have won many a trophy and league with Ralstson, Taylor, Scales and Welsh at the back. Our failure to deliver is a collective failure from top of the club to the bottom and most of the players, hopefully we see change this season. The appointment of Pedro and Beale put us off course by 4 years.

Devine is far better than he's given credit for, personally can't remember him having one bad game for us, but i can remember him having a couple of motm for us though, in a different position, very good cover in my eyes.

Devine never let us down any time he stepped into the first team. As a backup I think he is more than capable domestically. What message are we sending out to our academy players if we keep dipping into the market for squad players. We must show a path from academy to first team. Plus I think we need other startinh positions filled.

Sterling had a few injuries last season, we can't rely on him this season to play 50+ games, we will need to reinvest for a new rb, devine will be alright for some games but not ready for the big games yet, little experience at motherwell last season doesn't cut it unfortunately. There is a few ooc players that we could definitely look at with European experience.

Devine is good cover for Sterling who now needs a run at his natural position. King isn’t the answer at CB and needs to either move on or step forward one and play as a holding mid.
