Great player for £250k and has given all he has. But he’s on the downward trajectory now and we could earn 10 x what we paid and save £2m off the wage bill and replace with a guy we already have. That’s honesty, not disrespect. We could also buy a decent striker who can score penalties.

Makes sense to get a good fee before he gets to an age we can't get anything we have to move on eventually so why not when we still get a fee.

If it’s Trabzonspor that he’s agreed a contract with, we should hold out for our full valuation before letting the deal go through.

Sterling is not going to be our First choice RB i can guarantee that he is quite simply a Squad player he's not good enough for first team.
Wild to me that anyone can look at his season as a whole and think he is capable of being that.

If true, the guy has been a very good servant to the club and I applaud that - but a true right back position is not irreplaceable - we have lost better over the years and still survived - everyone can be replaced and if we want true change then this is only the start - imo.

Tav has been our best player for the last 4 season without a Dout including this season only after the split. Hard to replace but hopefully sterling with give us a better defence. As for the chat of off wingers and strikers covering his stats we should hope so but in the last couple of seasons it’s not been happening.

My Star its really amazing how my opinion on sterling is embarrassing have you read your takes the least 2 months? Trust me everyone here has a giggle at those.
i don't fault Sterlings effort but effort only gets you so far and he's not some defensive monster that people claim he is.
