I got told last week we offered them 500k plus McCrorie. Obviously that’s off now. I think Motherwell will deal with us around 1.5million and throw them a player on loan to develop. Perhaps Bailey Rice ?.

I hope they are willing to deal at £1.5m but I think they might be after £3-4m. David Turnbull moved for reported £3m in 2020 and miller is thought to be better. Turnbull was more established and more proven when Celtic signed him but with the amount of money English teams have I think we will have to double the £1.5m if we want him.

Gers if we can guarantee him game time he will come to us. Motherwell and us have good relations. The boy oozes quality and would walk in to our midfield IMO.

Can`t understand why we would scout a boy in pre season games, what will that show us . We should know enough about him from last season, to know if we want to buy him or not.

Sure John said we can’t afford him, I don’t know if he would want to sign either as he’s playing games and developing whereas his pal rice isn’t so happy with his progress since moving to rangers.

Storm why will he be a Rangers player? Rangers are very interested in Miller, he's worth 4m everyday of the week, we can't get him when at Motherwell we will never get him.

I’m not sure how true it is but Tranfer Market says he only has one year left on his deal? IF that is correct then Carluke, I think you’ll be right and they will do a deal of around £1.5m. We have heard of other interest before in him, but it’s all just rumours, like this is.

Bgate, that is my opinion, I just can’t see us paying circa 3 million for a 17 year old, give him five year deal, he sits on it, leaves for nothing at 22

Nonsense talked here how many times have we seen players be brilliant at other clubs come to rangers or celtic and fail the boy has promise that's all.
Could he step up like every says of course but there's no guarantee even if we were to sign him I can't see him playing every week for us you telling me we are going to go with barron and Miller as our midfield ain't happening.

As someone else said, Turnbull cost less money and he was far more established. Lennon Miller has done nothing to suggest he is a £4m player. Jake Haste scored 5 league goals when he first broke through at Motherwell where is he now? Where is Turnbull? Where is Allan Campbell?
No youngster at Motherwell is worth £4m after a season where he scored once. David Watson at Kilmarnock could be had for less than £4, he scored 5 goals, 4 assists, is Scotlands actual Young POTY, etc.
There is so much better we could do with £4m. Rangers will never pay that for such an unproven quantity.

Once again we, as supporters are not looking on our own doorstep for talent and I tear waxing lyrical about players we’ve never wven seen from abroad.
I’d love Mayo as 4th choice cb.
Miller and Watson.
Shankland as back up striker.
Danny Armstrong instead of wright Matondo etc
All those players improve our team and squad.

I never said we weren’t interested. I don’t know any contacts at rangers and never have claimed to. But I know about miller.
Belhaven his dad was a rangers fan growing up. His dad wants him to go down south.
He doesn’t look better diomande at this point. Mayo is not good enough to be 4th choice CH Armstrong ain’t good enough either. If we get rid of the players we want we need to replace them with a lot better to win leagues mayo and Armstrong ain’t that
GRF i think miller will have a better career than Watson and will be a better player. that's just my opinion.

Rice hasn`t even turned 18 yet and has only been with us for two years, during which time he has played first team football and been around the first team practically the whole time, why would he be unhappy about his progress? If he was expecting to make our first team at 16 he must rate his self very highly and be a bit deluded.
