This may sounds so contradictory. McAusland to sign a new deal is not down to money, but first team appearance. Which comes down to money. Just what ave been told and put my spin on it!
16 Nov 2023 05:43:56
I think we will be priced out they boys young a reckon a epl team will snatch him up and pay him 20/ 30k a week.
16 Nov 2023 07:28:33
A chance to play first team for your boyhood club week in week out would choose that over money any day.
16 Nov 2023 07:56:42
That doesn't make sense what you have said. It's not down to money but comes down to money? The boys good and I think he'll stay he's a Gers fan, young and will get a chance in the 1st team. We've been crying out for a winger this season and he seems to be the answer. Him Danilo and sima up front is a good attacking 3. I think of we can keep Lawrence fit then we have an outstanding attacking mid also. Teams shaping up not too bad now, just need to keep injury free.
16 Nov 2023 09:14:50
We are still a few short either in fitness or possible new acquisition in January, I think young mcausland agent will see if there's any interest down south for probs double the money or he will hold out for game time in the first team which means more money.
Unfortunately because of my first points his time will be limited in the new year.
16 Nov 2023 09:59:19
Whether he's a fan or not, he will move on if he's offered a big deal down south. This is his job, not turning up to watch the team every week. If he is offered the chance to work at a club like Chelsea, Tottenham, or even Villa, Newcastle etc- he will jump at it while banking vastly more than he would with us. This notion of "he's a fan so he will stay" is naïve at best. Every last person here would leave their workplace to do the same job elsewhere for maybe ten times the pay.
16 Nov 2023 10:13:34
Mcausland at present is on 1200 a month.
16 Nov 2023 10:53:15
Surely 1200 a week John? 1200 a month would be about minimum wage.
16 Nov 2023 11:05:09
£1200 a month? Surely not John? Even £1,200 a week is light, after tax and insurance etc.
16 Nov 2023 11:10:15
David that was his basic, 300 a week.
Yefeko to last week was only getting 600 a week.
16 Nov 2023 11:19:16
David salary sport site is one of the more reliable sites states mcausland on 700 a week.
Ishaka 3600
Rice, new deal 3500
Devine 2500
Greig allen 840
Darren mcnally 820
Go on look at the pocket money we pay Nsio stevens munn et al, albeit rangers pay all their accommodation food travel etc
Lovelace about to sign new deal. To put him in line with rice
I suspect mcausland will get similar.
16 Nov 2023 11:59:45
If you're 23 or older, and working 35 hours a week, your annual salary must be at least £18,964 to meet minimum wage. £1200 a month is only £14,400. That makes me wonder, is McAusland full-time or part-time at the moment?
16 Nov 2023 12:06:35
Mccausland isn't going to the epl jeeso he's 20 and played a handful of games getting carried away here.
16 Nov 2023 12:08:55
That’s not bad money for rice btw.
16 Nov 2023 12:38:42
ColinB- Macausland is under 23, and doesn’t work 35 hours a week.
16 Nov 2023 12:45:06
First of all I should state I like the boy and I think he is a real prospect BUT up until the last few weeks no English teams have been beating our door down to take him so why would that change now. Its not as if he is 16 like Gilmour or Wilson, he`s 20 and only making his breakthrough now. If he signs and has a good couple of years then the riches of England may come calling but for the moment he should get a pay hike and sign on again. If he doesn`t want to do that I say good luck to him, its his loss.
16 Nov 2023 12:52:52
Stevie he only went on to that recently.
16 Nov 2023 12:57:07
Was about to say that must not train/ play more than 17/ 18 hours a week.
16 Nov 2023 13:07:45
Colin, what about all the costs rangers pay directly to his food travel accommodation, you ignore that do you.
16 Nov 2023 13:26:54
Surely if we want to extend McCausland's contract we will need to substantially increase his salary, and also, bearing in mind, he will no doubt go on to gain many caps for NI.
16 Nov 2023 13:50:30
Colin, Ross is 20 so minimum wage is only £7.49 for someone his age. His £300 per week is more than £7.49 x 40 hour week.
John, food and transport cannot be accounted for as part of the UK minimal wage, and for accommodation, the club can only include the daily offset amount of £9.10 for each day the employer stays in accommodation they provide.
16 Nov 2023 14:35:16
Yip John a knew that mate, I’m just a bit shocked at how high his wage is for his age in Scottish terms.
Glad to hear it though as the boy is clearly a real prospect and deserves the riches that come with it.
He’d have likely gotten a lot more down south if he wanted it so it’s good all round I’d say.
16 Nov 2023 16:11:47
hilarious, talking about the boys wages LOL, think yous need a hobby lads.
16 Nov 2023 17:20:48
Colin what has the over 23 wages got to do with it? Surely you know his age?
16 Nov 2023 17:32:53
35 hours a week? Lucky if they work 16 hours a week. And he's under 23.
16 Nov 2023 18:34:28
Ally mc62 it’s even more hilarious that your commenting on us talking about his wages.
If it’s that absurd a convo to you then why are u joining in on it?
It’s a banter/ rumours/ discussion/ finance page.
Discussing youth players contract renewals and the wage they’re getting is a major part of this football club and so I’d expect to discuss these things on this type of page.
If what we talk about is so absurd to u then scroll on past mate.
16 Nov 2023 18:59:53
Glad to see there's no breach of Data Protection legislation on this site ????.
16 Nov 2023 20:18:36
I know that kilted however rangers pay these costs
Still blue correct, info available on dozens of salary sites.
16 Nov 2023 21:17:43
Still Blue, brill mate.
16 Nov 2023 22:42:06
M1690. That's some age you are if that's your year of birth, so away back to the site you should be on and stop disgracing the page with that name.
17 Nov 2023 02:52:01
GC easy to say when the money not in your face and always a chance to come back later in his career being a club trained player.
17 Nov 2023 08:04:01
The club can't hand out big money contracts to every prospect.
17 Nov 2023 12:08:15
Ally Mac is that something else we r not allowed to discuss.
Could u explain or list what we can talk about.
18 Nov 2023 00:11:04
Maybe we should just talk about them John227. Nah. Just leave that to them.
