we have enough players, making them a team is now the main thing, although i would have liked a poacher style player and i prefer greegs to jm, i'm happy with what we have, coaching is now the key, although i wouldn't be surprised if a surprise popped up.

I would definitely say John need another striking option another bulldog strong type like morelos, who would and can come back into mid win the ball, and take it past defenders hold it up for our
players and make chances for themselves not just relying on feed from wingers and midfielders as and when teams do park up need option who can unlock it morelos can, aribo could.

Good info John I do believe we need a new goalkeeper in desperately, surely mcgregor only received new contract so he can mentor a new younger keeper coming in. Any other reason for his renewal doesn't stand up.

hope you’re right john, a poacher is what i want, if there’s a keeper then he must be no, 1,, kamara i feel has wanted away for some time, so i expect rangers to accept a reasonable offer, hopefully something that would ease any potential loss of cl cash, but hopefully we can get a play off place,

Why the rush for a new goalkeeper? McLaughlin is a good goalkeeper who controls his area and made a huge save on Tuesday. Isn't scared to use his feet either. If we were to buy a number one they would need to be better than him but, unlike Greegs, still good in all those areas. That would cost a lot of money and we saw with Barkas at Celtic the risk of bringing in an unknown.

We need another striker and an attacking midfield player to fill Aribos role ( that may be Tillman, I haven`t seen enough to judge ) If we can`t rely on Roofe and don`t rate Sakala a striker is a must, a proper striker that gets in the box and scores goals . We have three keepers so we`re okay there but may need a left back if Barisic goes .

Good news John, like others I hope that one of them is a goalkeeper! McGregor is still the best keeper at the Club by some distance but that does not mean he should be our No. 1 (and McLaughlin is not and never will be of the quality we need) .

We do not need a Striker, Colak, Morelos and any of the young guys.
We are missing the biggest thing and that's a solid CM who can impact in the final Third, Jack has been pretty bang average for months now. Kamara does jack's role better than Jack however he's being asked to be the one breaking beyond the forwards it's not his game.
If he don't sign a CM and go into the season with Jack, Lundstram and Kamara as our main CMs we've made a massive error.

We do need a third striker as we showed last season. Roofe cannot be relied on to be third option and after that we have a 16 year old Lovelace and an 18 year old Ure . Weston and Alegria out on loan until January at least so they are not options. If we stop playing Lundstram in the back three we have plenty of central midfielders, Kamara, Lundstram, Jack, Davis, Arfield, Sands, McCann. A goalscoring midfielder would be a definite plus for the squad though.

Roofe made 36 appearances last season
Morelos, Colak, Roofe, Sakala and if needed Tillman can play no.9.
Our problem is in that list of CMs only one who has something to offer in the final third and that's arfield.

I think we should never have given McGregor a new deal. As much as I agree that Mcgloughlin is good with ball at his feet and crosses, he's not No1 material.
We should have went for the boy that was at Dundee utd.
I actually think now we could do worse than going for Liam Kelly.

Richy1471 the Dundee United boy had an error or two in him as well. nothing wrong with McGregor as a no2 I think we would struggle to get a keeper of his quality to sit on bench but as he is rangers man and possibly looking towards coaching it makes sens. The fact people are still debating McGregor or McLaughlin tells you he's good enough to be a no2.also I really don't see what mccrorie has done. wrong to not get a chance was ok at livi and never let us down when played for us.
