He’s on very decent wages and his injury issues have been with him at every club. We might need to bite the bullet on him and take a loan where we still cover a percentage of his wages or price him below valuation to get shot.

Would sell Roofe for less than half paid i would take 1m, good player but never fit enough and over 3m wages until he is out of contract, punt him and Sakala and bring another good striker on board my opinion, think Kelly Simpson Middleton Katic (Can't believe people what him to stay) will be away this window.

Roofe would still get us 10/ 15 goals and with colak still settling Alfie prob out till Sept it would be madness letting Roofe go UNLESS we had someone to bring in also please no more Tillman talk as striker he's untried in that position.

Best to try and get some sort of transfer fee for Roof now, otherwise I’d keep him as back up rather than a loan.
If we can get a transfer fee it’s the best option and sign a young striker with potential to fight it out with Colak and Alfredo to play in first team.
I love Alfredo but his injury in my opinion was due to him being used to often with the amount of games we play so we need options and hopefully with Colak this season we can spread the load.

Take him on loan see how he goes champions league money this year if we get in and next year when we get straight in to the group stages when we win the league and have a deal in place to buy him.

Kemar Roofe hasn’t been ‘injury free’ since his Oxford days.
It’s why Leeds sold him, it’s why Anderlecht sold him and it will be why we sell him which is ultimately a shame because a fit Kemar Roofe is a PL level striker.

Nobody’s questioning Kemar Roofe as a striker.
He’s constantly injured and can’t be relied on especially when he’s on around £30k a week.

If Roofe goes we would certainly need a replacement and not Ross Stewart . We should be looking at players good enough to play in Europe, which to be fair Roofe is, when fit. Stewart is a bang average SPL player and is nowhere near the standard we would want.

Agree John on Lovelace, have said on here similar. Can see him featuring like Lowry did last season after Xmas and getting a few minutes assuming all is well and the right opportunities arise.
