A few have written that aribo has a clause in his contract saying he can leave this window for 10 million.
I'm told this is correct.
More importantly it also has a clause that there is a sell on clause of 20% allegedly.
This represents good business if correct.

With one year left on his contract 10 million would be a very good fee for him, if he's not going to sign a new contract hopefully we can sell him this window.

Sydney, it appears this was done after six months at the club, SG and Wilson realised they had a real asset.
His. Wage was increased slightly for a couple of clauses added.

He had previous of running his contract down at Charlton so great forward planning by us to ensure we got a fee
Also puts the lad in a great position to negotiate a very nice EPL salary and set himself up for life, as £10 mil is a drop in the ocean for most of the teams in that league.

Buying a player for £300k and then selling him on for £10m when he has 12 months left on his contract is brilliant business. Factor in what he has contributed in his time at Rangers, the most important league title in many a year (possibly ever), a Scottish cup, numerous good runs in Europe including a final. All of that for £300k and your going to make a huge profit on him plus future % fee if he moves again.
Give yer head a wobble if you don't think the board have done well out of Joe Aribo.

So an out lay of 1,7 million could return 47. I’ll take that.

Could be added as a contract clause that if a buyer doesn't agree to it then we aren't obliged to accept a transfer request. Keeps things transparent for the player.

Aribo was say 350,0000, then say you get 10 million for him, so then how many future 350,000 Aribos can you buy with 10 million? I’m no maths expert but that is some serious money.

Disappointing the fact he could leave for 10 million although still a massive profit on the nominal fee we paid! 20% could prove to be a significant chunk of cash as I feel his game is very well suited to epl and will do very well down there. Great player always available!
