Looks like its going to complicated fifa tribunal as clubs can't agree fee and registrations. So annoying these mega rich EPL clubs haggling over amounts that would be little over one of their players weeks wage. Don't know how much rangers have asked for but it's hardly going to affect them especially if it's dependent on future clauses.

It’s always disappointing when we lose young players particularly the ones who are tipped to be stars. The reality though is that very few make it to the level of Ferguson and Durrant with the return of games for our club.
In the recent past Rangers and Celtic have had Gilmour, Feruz, Fleck, Mdude, Dembele, even Danny Wilson. For some reason most young Scottish players can’t fulfill potential after the age of 18. This has always happened so while we can be disappointed, it’s the way it is. Who is old enough to remember the hype around Andy Kennedy in the early 80s because he was flying machine. He broke through but never played many games for Rangers if my memory is correct.
It’s the hope of a special one that keeps us all going.

Stephen you just sound very bitter just because the boy has chosen elsewhere and he may never Ben heard from again but he will be set up for life.

John I didn’t complain. However I believe Wilson has miles more potential than Graham. Saying that I wish Graham every success an hopefully I’m wrong.

I think we should step back and say that for the first time ever our academy is finally doing what it was set up to do. The fact some our youngsters are being associated with epl clubs in a way is a compliment and we have others now moving into our first team squad and many others showing potential to get there. We’ll win some and lose some but overall a very positive picture and one I hope continues for a long time.

I know we do it too to an extent. But the finances involved are from different planets. The reported 300k is barely pocket change to these clubs.

We have picked up some young players from England and even from other Scottish teams in the same manner. At his age no one knows whether Wilson will be a success. Only time will tell. Personally I am more interested in the young players that are at Rangers.
