Reports of Rangers being in for Derby's Tom Lawrence I'd actually take this one, but there's loads of other interest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think he’d be a good signing to be honest mate!

Seems to have done really well for Derby especially last season. As you say, I imagine a fair few premiership teams will be interested.

{Ed001's Note - He has off-field issues which is why he is still at Derby. He was one of the ones involved in the drink-driving smash that ended Richard Keogh's Derby career, when they ran off and left him unconscious with his leg smashed up in a car after crashing two of them together. He is to be avoided I would say.}

Good point Ed! We seem to have a pretty good team bond. guess we need to make sure we are bringing in players with the right character.

{Ed001's Note - it is what Klopp has built his success on, so it does make a difference.}

I tend to agree. Story goes serious drink issues.

28 May 2022 08:38:44
We all make mistakes, Gazza had issues young Patterson and Bassey were almost out the door and look how they worked out. I see what you are saying Ed but generally footballers do stupid things quite regularly.

{Ed001's Note - he has not cleaned himself up. Gazza was a long time ago, now players have to be athletes, it wasn't important back then.}

Ed i know wat your saying about the Derby player but maybe he can be managed way Gio look how Gaza turnded out.

{Ed001's Note - he is not Gazza though is he?}

He’s trouble we don’t need, I’d be surprised if we r interested.

Watching clips of Tom Lawrence he seems to score a lot of his goals from outside the box, that's an area we badly lack in.

28 May 2022 09:33:00
Carlos Pena comes to mind.

lots of interest in lawrence some time ago, this explains why he’s still there,

28 May 2022 12:43:52
he also has a poor disciplinary record and can lose it at times we don't need that in an OF game.

28 May 2022 15:15:14
Only watched him play for Wales. And no doubt about it, would be a fantastic signing, left winger predominantly though, can he play on the right, can't see him signing to be a 2nd choice.

Bad egg.

28 May 2022 20:19:41
Free egg tho easy but a clause in his contract regarding drinking ect.

28 May 2022 20:48:56
RFC employment law would never allow it.

Not s left winger arfield, he's an attacking midfielder.
