Rumours going about all fans will be in stadiums by 17th.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jan 2022 12:45:10
Yet cases still very high. How strange. Flu more deadly than new varient being reported now. that was apparently supposed to have infected the whole nation by now.

11 Jan 2022 13:05:11
If this happens which I'd be shocked it them the spfl will be fully justified bring the winter shutdown forward.

11 Jan 2022 14:06:43
Have heard a couple of teams have already started selling away tickets for next week.

11 Jan 2022 14:33:55
Well sweep prepared to be shocked as it’s happening and it proves they were no real reason for it in the 1st place the government are a complete joke.

11 Jan 2022 14:39:47
Our next home game we need to check 50% of the attendance and will need to have the booster for being fully jabbed if you have had the 2nd jab 4 months ago.

11 Jan 2022 14:40:02
Paul86 my son back in Bathgate had the new variant, He said it was nothing more than a cold. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺👍.

11 Jan 2022 14:54:09
10k cases reported yesterday so why the sudden change? Is it cause boris has told her no more free pcr testing? No tests no positive cases.

11 Jan 2022 14:55:02
Why’s that Sweep?

11 Jan 2022 15:08:59
Exactly scozie but all the data the giv had from south africa we already knew thar yet gov and media made a mad knee jerk reaction. Absolutely was no reason what so ever to shut league down. Storm think its random checks mate. If u get stopped just go to another gate 😂.

11 Jan 2022 15:13:37
While there's such staff shortages in the nhs, care homes and emergency services I think this a very bad decision. We shouldn't be using valuable police services on football matches.

11 Jan 2022 16:08:02
Thank god you ain’t making the decisions sweep it should never have been the case from the start England has worked fine.

11 Jan 2022 16:18:19
Since this nonsense started, 350 people have died from C.V. under the age of 60 with no underlying health issues. Nothing should have closed ever. Each and every person that complied during this lockdown has the blood of many children on their hands!

11 Jan 2022 16:40:52
The Six Nations is happening next month. The SRU told Sturgeon that they would seek to play the Scotland matches at St James Park/ Sunderland or Middlesborough. She absolutely would not have that so is opening up again.

11 Jan 2022 17:23:11
Sweep that’s down to all the cut backs in these roles and ludicrous isolation rules.

11 Jan 2022 17:29:25
Smith2d 👏👏👏.

11 Jan 2022 18:07:22
It's good that fans are allowed back but why can 50000 fans be allowed with no social distancing but if I go to my wee local pub, there could only be 50 people allowed with social distancing and table service, 🤔 this is a farce.

11 Jan 2022 18:30:17
Sweep I work in that industry and frequently spend time between hospitals and care homes and what you said could not be further from the truth. I’m sure your not meaning to cause harm but click bait statements like that you’ve heard on the news or the wee guy down the bookies do not tell the actual story.

No shortages whatsoever or hospitals being overrun for that matter. Simply what john25 said; silly isolation rules causing folk to be off work was the issue for a lot staff being off work.

11 Jan 2022 18:42:57
Easy, I chatted with my consultant today and he said very same the isolation rules r crippling hospitals. Very few C.V. sufferers in ICU.

11 Jan 2022 18:51:17
As has been said above, I have just recovered from the new variant of C.V. and it was just like a very bad cold. (That said, I am very happy that I had all my jabs) . My oldest daughter, (Teaching), has had the new variant as has my oldest son, both fully jabbed), and they have had no symptom. My youngest daughter who only had her first two jabs, caught C.V. while visiting her inlays up in Edinburgh at Christmas, she had what was like a very bad cold.
Personally I believe that the UK Government has taken the correct action and Sturgeon has over reacted but that is just my opinion!

11 Jan 2022 19:14:20
Read what I said before pulling me up, there's staff shortages. I never said anything about C.V. but there's staff shortages due to workers isolating. No matter what has caused the staff shortages we should be using the resources better than using them for football matches.

11 Jan 2022 19:57:54
Sweep you have mentioned C.V. as an argument a few times recently so don’t come with that bs now am sure you said we wouldn’t have fans back for months.

11 Jan 2022 19:58:33
Stuz one is inside and the other is outside.

11 Jan 2022 20:09:42
So sweep due to snp cutting police, fir ambulance crews et al u would never have a football match or rugby match.

11 Jan 2022 20:18:18
Guys the amount of deaths put against C.V. is false, I know this as a fact .

1.was talking to a Muslim in an Indian I am a regular who stated his uncle died of a heart attack and because they have to bury their dead within 24 hours the doctor stated he will put it down against C.V. .

2., Got the exact same thing tonight in my local from a regular who stated their mother, who hasn't been well for 4 years!

3,Now this is only my point regarding overcrowded hospitals, why are doctors not in their surgeries, even behind screens, they take calls then refer to hospital when they could have dealt with it in local centres .

Sorry not gers related but just giving my opinion to previous posts . 💙.

11 Jan 2022 20:25:56
My mate said he had seen a job advert that hibs had placed looking for stewards and staff and the 17th was on the start date Storm,
Not seen it myself but obviously that's the date of them playing angeballs 11 🤞🤞
🔴⚪🔵.

11 Jan 2022 20:21:32
A certain poster said no fans would be allowed for rest of season …. As a fact not an opinion … just goes to show how sone people have such a high regard for their own nonsense.

11 Jan 2022 20:33:34
Does anyone else think that football fans being allowed back is due to the Rugby six nations due to begin, Nic said that the Sru had shown that they could handle vax checks no mention of Sfa just my opinion.

11 Jan 2022 20:51:51
I have a son who has been in hospital for the past 2.5 years and is now on a Vent as he has had a tracheostomy. intensive care for 1.5 years of this time and now in a ward waiting to come home with a live in nurse. And I know for a fact that if nurses or support workers feel unwell then they are asked to come in and do a 'point of care' which means they test and gets fast tracked so get the results in hours. So the shortages in the NHS is probably not down to C.V.. Hopefully this sheds some light on this argument/ debate.

11 Jan 2022 21:19:08
Andy why are hibs looking for stewards for parkhead?

11 Jan 2022 21:25:32
If a nurses wife/ husband has CV that nurse does not need to isolate immediately because as I said a 'point of care' test is done and as long as it's negative that said nurse is asked to return to work and that's how it is so I am told. I have no reason to think I am told lies but that nurse would be looking after my 5 year old son and would hope that it's all truth.

11 Jan 2022 22:01:00
Shagger god bless your son.

11 Jan 2022 22:01:36
I've said previously that two of my cousins are nursess at the Edinburgh Royal and the problem they have is staff isolating and not an increase in people being hospitalised. If they were fulling they could cope quite easily. Just saying what I've been told.

11 Jan 2022 22:12:08
I know this is not the site for it but there’s a big misconception between hospitalisation with C.V., or from C.V.

Most people - literally almost everyone who does not have multiple co-morbidities (obesity, cancer, heart failure etc) or are severely immune-surprised, ride out C.V. without any issues.

The numbers of people in hospitals are vastly over stated and this example is the truth. if you break your arm, and go to hospital to get a cast, u will get tested. If your +ve, you are a hospital case with C.V. and they all go into the same pot of numbers.

And all these people who have zero symptoms, would have gone about their life until they get that test.

vaxs DO NOT STOP you catching or passing on C.V.

11 Jan 2022 22:37:47
Thankyou john. it's been a tough time but hopefully light at the end of the tunnel in the next few weeks/ month. Coming on here and seeing the comments n rumours help me take my mind off it all even for that wee half hour. keep doing what u do bud 👍.

12 Jan 2022 09:46:38
Hospitals are empty of cases and staff. I have friends who are Doctors.

Managing this has been a shambles.
