This is the issue, money talks, he has a lot of developing to do and he must be patient. If he's happy to go and sit on Everton bench and build his bank balance then feel free. At this moment in time, his aim should be development and learning. Not money. But we all know, money talks. It ain't a coincidence that Tav has been first choice for more than just one manager.

Everton have two RB already at the club Coleman and Holegate so Nathan would be lucky to get any game time down there at all. Who is to say Tav will be here next season? Will Tav want a final crack down south before he hangs up his boots? Yeah I know £10+mill is a lot of coin but he has the chance in the next year or two to become our starting RB but I guess as others have said money talks.

I Have been told to Patterson will be staying in January as Gerrard is looking at taking Tav to Villa.
AS Gerrard is looking at 3 players
Tav - 12mil
Kent - 20mil
Aribo - 20mil or Hagi -15mil.

Tav is looking decent again thanks to the new game plan etc. Personally thought he was awful this season prior to Gio and co taking over. Patterson has a huge future and will be gutted to see him leave. However if the figure of 10-12m is met its a no brainer. Him plus possibly Hagi leaving for similar amount would be massive for investing in players Gio and co want.

Storm Tav to Villa? Do you think he would get a game ahead of the boy Cash? Can’t see it. Maybe as a back up but would he leave a club where he is the captain and a guaranteed starter every game to sit on vlllas bench? Would happily take £35,000,000 for both Kent and Hagi. Invest 15/ 20 back in the squad to see us through to 56 and then CL money then big rebuild in the summer. Keepin Aribo at Ibrox until the summer is a must though if we want to retain the title then who knows maybe he will sign a new deal and get a crack at CL.

I'd love nothing more than Patterson to become Gers legend but if you told boy at start of his career you can be a pro at rangers earn 15 grand a week OR you can sign a 5 year deal at Everton for 40grand a week and take your chances then if doesn't work more than likely still get another club for more than the 15k a week what would anyone do.

John, I honestly think patterson would get more minutes at Everton than he does at us, and that would help his career. He is suffering from tav being captain, as if he wasn't captain patterson would have played a lot more. Look at amount of games over last couple of seasons barisic got dropped for bassey and tav stayed in team, no matter how poorly he played. Simply due to fact tav is captain imo as others got dropped for less.
