Anyone else hearing old firm maybe moved to the Monday.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2021 11:45:59
Does not matter when, the idiots will still gather.

11 Mar 2021 12:16:10
How do we deter them John? Does the club need to release a hard hitting statement in the hope it gets through to them? Does UEFA get involved with the threat of a European ban which would mean us missing the champs league? Does Tav and the players make an impassioned plea for calm and for fans to be sensible and behave? On the spot fines to every supporters found to be breaking the rules? What mate? Is there just an element of our support hell bent on ignoring everything and do as they please? Or, are we making mountains out of mole hills and not giving the support the chance to show lessons have been learned and that we can behave and be sensible now the league has been won?

11 Mar 2021 13:13:23
good question bmg. in some ways moles are considered pests and dealt with accordingly. others think differently. either way ignored you'll create a lot of hills. but then society does that until political profit arises. vote in may!

11 Mar 2021 13:17:42
BMG absolutely nothing to do with uefa.
Police should police it and issue fines.

11 Mar 2021 13:23:57
No matter if UEFA make threats, pleas from players etc, some people will always break rules.
Ever since the first lockdown, people have been breaking the rules set by the ScotGov.
It will not stop now.

11 Mar 2021 13:32:10
How does the club stop them? Lifetime ban for anyone flouting C.V. laws. There is simply no excuse for anyone turning up at Ibrox, George Square or anywhere else for that matter. If they do, all they are doing is giving the government the chance to show us in a bad light and to take action against the club. I make no apology for saying that anyone turning up at Celtic Park next weekend, or at Ibrox on any occasion during the lockdown is being selfish and deserves a lifetime ban from the club.

11 Mar 2021 14:09:51
I think cunny on the banter pages nailed it when he suggested removing season tickets from any of our fans who don't listen and get caught breaking the rules. The UB's need to take responsibility here. The younger generation listen to them, but If they are caught breaking the rules, it should be a lifetime ban and removal of their season ticket. Hit them hard! The club shouldn't be punished, but the fans who don't listen should. For those fans who have never been to a game, or who don't have season tickets to remove, it's going to be more difficult to deter them as they have less to lose.

11 Mar 2021 14:31:34
Yes removing tickets off those issued C.V. fines a good idea.

11 Mar 2021 15:15:02
15 point deduction for start of next season for either team if their "fans" turn up again before end of C.V. restrictions. Only way. Most, but not all of the muppets from weekend weren't born during the 80’s battle that embarrassed our national game.

11 Mar 2021 15:35:20
As the players were seen to encourage fans then the outcome could be scary as when the other lot
Protected they did not encourage the behaviour.

11 Mar 2021 16:01:38
It wasn't just the UB who congregated at Ibrox 🤦
There was people of all ages going by the pictures.
UB are an easy target.
It's the support as a whole who celebrated and I bet not everyone who was there had a season ticket either.
Away from Ibrox, Rangers aren't responsible for the actions of their fans.
They can put out the correct message but other than that it's a society problem.
I visit my parents every week - should I lose my season ticket for breaking lockdown rules away from football?

11 Mar 2021 16:57:31
1-even if the club put out statement, people would still have gathered. 2- there is no scope to deduct teams points for what happens outside stadium 3- no way you can take seasons off prople breaking lockdown, where does it end if we start that, plus I'm sure legally the club have no scope to do that anyway.

11 Mar 2021 18:00:49
The club can remove tickets from whoever they want, they're not bound by any restrictions. If they have a valid reason, and they have proof of a supporter's wrongdoing, they can do what they want. What's going to happen? Are the individuals going to raise a legal case to get their tickets back? I doubt it!

11 Mar 2021 20:26:09
I doubt many of the idiots who went to Ibrox have season tickets. As Richard Gough said they were mainly teenagers. If citizens break the law then let the legal system deal with them. No matter how strongly the club begs them to stay away you will always have an element that will totally ignore the advice.

11 Mar 2021 23:10:02
Yous have to be actually having a laugh ban people who get c. v fines so that time you went and seen yer mum and dad should your season ticket be taking off you to cause you broke the rules you know a great idea aswell ban people from buying rangers tops that break the rules 🙈
Don’t get me wrong it should not of happened but it did.

12 Mar 2021 07:08:47
Nothing like going to see your mum and dad and you know it. To try and make parallels to what happened in George Sq is crass and embarrassing. Have a word with yourself.

12 Mar 2021 08:16:22
One of my neighbors sons was struck on the face with a bottle in the square on Sunday, his face is in a dreadful state,

These people have long been a problem for Rangers, anyone thinking otherwise is deluded ', nothing the club says will stop them, I also have a relative who was there with her boyfriend, a Celtic fan, his reason was “ a party’s a party.

12 Mar 2021 10:08:19
Stop them we cant

Newcastle and other places in England
Barcelona
Manchester
Been happening for 60years I know of.

12 Mar 2021 10:56:49
Rangers and Celtic should make statements in advance of game stating:

- No supporters should attend Celtic Park given the C.V.
- That the police have the authority to arrest any supporters that do congregate
- That any supporter who of either club congregating at Celtic Park will be banned from attending future matches.

12 Mar 2021 11:58:21
Bankie spot on sir I would also say not to attend Ibrox either 🇦🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️🇬🇧👍.

12 Mar 2021 13:34:08
agree FC1962.

12 Mar 2021 16:35:41
Sadly I don't believe that there is anything that will deter the Neanderthals on both sides from turning up at Celtic Park and there is every likelihood that they would be more interested in a brawl than anything else. I am not sure that the threat of Season Ticket removals would be overly relevant since some of those most likely to be involved won't be Season Ticket Holders. Given the above, the only alternative that I can see, assuming that the game is not postponed is that anyone attending is banned for life from attending Football Matches, they are arrested by the Police and charged with everything and anything that is possible and they are given a custodial sentence. Would that be a deterrent? Who knows!

12 Mar 2021 17:03:52
Latest conspiracy on the dark side, its being moved to Monday to give us an extra day or 2 rest after the European game
You really cannot make this stuff up.

12 Mar 2021 17:08:52
I get what you are all saying and 100% agree that fans shouldn't be anywhere the stadium. We can't just start making laws and rules up to suit tho. Jail them etc is just hysterical nonsense, every cv breach is a cv breach regardless of what it is, as I've always maintained on here. If we start to differentiate it ends up far too grey.

13 Mar 2021 04:17:04
BMGH01 still breaking the rules regardless and that’s a fact so if you have went and seen your mum and dad a say ban yer season ticket 😂 just like you wanted done to others only fair.

13 Mar 2021 07:47:25
Wow! Are you for real Rfc92? That has to be one of the most ridiculous posts on here for a long time, and that's saying something. Well done you, you have managed to take stupid to a whole new level. Bravo! 👏.

13 Mar 2021 20:40:29
Defo mate I’m actually serious folk like you always want other people punished but if you break the rules it’s different
