Report I read said we recieved a 2 million initial fee which to me if accurate would suggest there was add ons in the deal. Would love to see him come back on loan for rest of this season and next. Would be interesting to see just how good he could have been for us. Plus new manager comes in and doesn't like him maybe just maybe could come back.

Think the new manager has already said he will loan him out. can see Gilmour being sold that's why I'm asking. can't see the new manager going with youth. think he will buy big in the summer.

Bellshill lad I don’t think it was that much and all Chelsea did have give us was a nominal fee but they gave us a bit more.
I don’t think there was a sell on but may be wrong.

Far as I know it was a clean break, we would know about any add ons by now, they’re not secrets as far as I’m aware, and Chelsea only had to pay a small fee, but probably paid about half a million.

I have always been under the impression that it was £500,000 they gave us, no add-ons, no sell on clause, and that was double what they legally needed to give us. Anyway, he didn't want to sign for Rangers, so why bother?

Yea it was definitely under 500 . Should have been around 300 but Chelsea graciously gave us more . Don’t think there was any addons as we had absolutely no say on the matter and billy was going whatever .
Bellshill I read that report as well that we got 2 mil . just goes to show these people get away with writing anything .
Would be good to see him back on loan tho. the boy is a star . Once he bulks up he will be unstoppable.

All the reports I can find say 500k but they are add ons but doesn’t say how much the add ons are.

as far as I'm aware rangers received 500 grand as part of a development fee 200 over what we should have got
was same rule cross border type same we done with aribo
200 more as chealsea where desperate too get him and that was deemed a decent price for a youth
can only speculate as too add ons but think I read as a youth 500 was the deal and no add ons but I could be wrong guys.

Paul 86 he left at 16 illegal to sign before that, he then was not able to sign professional forms at Chelsea till his 17 birthday.

Chelsea stated they paid add on for league debut, champions league debut. I believe we get something when he makes full Scotland debut

The boy wanted to go and we had no power to keep or stop him . what’s so hard about that to understand . as the previous posts say he was to young to sign a contract with us or Chelsea and it was a development compensation fee only . but hey kets stick the boot into the board . wow.
