Bankie personaly I disagree. davies is having a brilliant season and think if we get him edmondson will be gone. johnson is held in really high regard and as an attacking midfielder will fight with arfield for a place. arfields out now and we lack a real attacking midfield threat.

Not been overly impressed with Johnson if I'm honest but I have only seen him 3/ 4 times since we were first linked with him.
I'm sure he knocked back what would have been a bumper contract from Preston so they obviously desperate to keep hold of him.
I'd like us to go for Lundstrum from Sheffield utd for central midfield.

Bankie to be honest I am not overly impressed by Johnson on what I have seen.
Davies never watched really as I didn’t know we were interested so never really noticed him to form an opinion.
I didn’t want Scott wright and that’s happening also so we need to trust SG and the rest and they seem to want these guys so will get behind if they sign.

I do think daniel johnson could be a longer-term replacement for scotty arfield. He is a big goal threat from midfield and good at free kicks 👌 Very attack minded midfielder ðŸ‘🇬🇧.

Johnson supposobly knocked back a record 17,000 quid per week contract. On that note you know both players will be within gers wage bracket.

By all accounts Davies is a great left sided centre half. I actually think he’s being signed as a starter. I think hellander will leave aswell as Edmundson. Well have goldson and Davies backed up by balogun and Katic. I lersoanlihavent seen any of Davies or Johnson so only going by reports but Davies is a £10m player. That’s how they valued him in the summer just passed.

I’ve seen quite a bit if Johnston and he is a very good player. At 28 will have no resale value and if he comes cannot see Aribo staying at Ibrox. Agree Helander and Edmundson would need to exit to accommodate Davies.

I totally agree with DUNFERMLINELOYAL, that although i rate/ like balogun, i also think goldson and helander are our best centre half pairing ðŸ‘If we do however sign PNE left sided centre half ben davies, he will expect to play as rangers no.1 left sided centre half, beside conor goldson 🤔

Sweep as stated weare selling the summer to raise funds. we can easily replace these players with free agents that cost nothing and are within the wage bracket. do you think were going to lose a few players without replacing them lol. Filip helander won't be leaving guys, i'm extremely confident of that! Between helander and balogun getting game time, there's not one favoured to the other by gerrard IMO 🤔Its horses for courses between the two, if you look back over the games!
So who plays beside goldson, is very much dependant on the opposition we're facing ðŸ‘🇬🇧.

Definitely coops one of our defenders will be leaving, well 2 actually. So Edmundson is 1. The other will be between goldson balogun katic and hellander. So the question is which one. But definitely 1 of them are leaving.

Watched Johnson a few times down here as my mate and his family all have season tickets.
He was voted the fans and player’s player of the year
After a slight change in formation by Alex Neil pushed him further forward.
From what I've seen he’s skillfull but not very quick. He can play a pass and can also break up play. Last few seasons he’s been sitting midfield until last year when he went to nr10. Not overly creative or dynamic but can cover the park well.
Scored a few last year but he’s there designated penalty taker so be mindful of that.
Overall I feel he’s a good squad player and is probably similar to Zunga. Make of that what you will, but for me he’s coming and Zunga won’t be staying.

Ben Davies will be a solid signing in my opinion unfortunately that may be at the cost of a Helander or Katic doubt we would sell Goldson and Baloguns at an age where he doesn't really have a transfer value and obviously that also keeps Edmundson as a fringe player who may be moved on or loaned out
Daniel Johnson will be a good squad signing but don't see him shifting Arfield Jack Kamara or Davis but reckon Kamara would unfortunately be sold at the right price, Johnson can also play the advanced midfielder role that Hagi and Aribo play but again we only really need 2 if playing twice a week so hope its not at a loss of Hagi.

I think katic will get some oppertunities. His performances will need to be more consistant if he want to get back in the side though.
