Apparently Aberdeen want hastie as part of Wright deal.

Agree2 Disagree0

18 Jan 2021 14:53:47
No idea why. he's not exactly progressed.

18 Jan 2021 14:54:45
Has he been any good when on loan? I've not watched him. In fact, I keep forgetting he's still our player.

18 Jan 2021 14:55:27
I’d let him go there. Get him off wage bill.

18 Jan 2021 15:11:10
Colin he has really struggled to get minutes at Motherwell.

18 Jan 2021 15:20:39
Straight swap bearing in mind wright in last 6 month of contract.

18 Jan 2021 15:53:25
Yip straight swap but knowing Aberdeen they will want hastie and the 350k for Ross a would but a buy back clause in hastie if he goes could still turn out to be a player
Think he’s on 7k a week tho could Aberdeen afford that.

18 Jan 2021 15:55:26
Would be excellent business for Aberdeen. Wright’s value with 6 month left on contract £50,000, Hastie cost us £350,000 and is starting to find feet again on loan at Motherwell.

18 Jan 2021 16:04:24
I would loan him hastie and take Wright on loan. Loan swap. If they want hastie in summer they can buy him. If not we can sell him.

18 Jan 2021 16:50:34
Right bankie I’m not sure hastie has what it takes to make it with us. Buts I’d insert a sell on clause in case.

18 Jan 2021 17:43:08
John25, think could depend on how the new Motherwell manager sees Hastie. If not part of his plans I’d loan Hastie and Stewart to Aberdeen for remainder of season with option to buy Hastie. Believe Hastie will develop into a player if coached and developed over next 18 months.

18 Jan 2021 18:12:44
Bankie, hastie is not finding his feet at mwell he is hardly getting played and heard thru the grapevine his attitude is stinking at that club and he ain’t putting the work in.

18 Jan 2021 18:29:32
He won’t be a football player very long well, the Ross deal will have nothing to do with any other deal unless they have same agency.

18 Jan 2021 19:40:17
KJA9, if his attitude is that bad not sure why Aberdeen keen to sign him.

18 Jan 2021 20:37:18
Hastie was one off the egos Sg referred to.

19 Jan 2021 10:52:55
John25, when Hastie arrived at Ibrox he thought he had made it and attitude was indeed bad. My understanding is this now corrected, learned lesson and boy determined to make grade. Will be interesting to see how this develops.

19 Jan 2021 13:28:09
It makes no sense to make hastie 0art of the deal as his contract isn't up at the end of the season. Rangers will be in full control over the deal as we can get him for free in the summer. The only player we would let go would be someone who is nearing the end of their contract this summer. Think the only option for me is Stewart or cash. Hastie would get a better fee than the value of the deal. Wilson not known for making bad business decisions.
