Looks like there is interest in Hagi going to Sampdoria.

Agree2 Disagree0

If it’s for a profit on our money I’d move him on but not for a loss. I think he has potential, as an old number 10 with 2 players wide of him and 2 behind him. But we don’t play like that so how’s it going to work.

14 Dec 2020 10:57:29
20 million take it or leave it I'd say. think given time hagi will be a player.

14 Dec 2020 11:12:15
I like Hagi but I think he lacks pace. There’s no doubt there’s a very good player in there but just feel the pace issue will hold him back.

14 Dec 2020 11:48:03
20m take it or leave it offer?
After the Sampdoria officials stop laughing, I could hazard a guess what their answer would be.

14 Dec 2020 12:19:44
The boy is so obviously a good player but as Jaws says, he does lack pace. He sometimes looks like he is running in quicksand. Pity, as he would be very good with that extra yard. Obviously the way we are playing at the moment doesn't suit his game. I do feel for him.

14 Dec 2020 12:35:12
Remember riquelme and Ortega, both world class number 10s. Absolutely zero pace whatsoever both of them. If hagi was played as an old style number 10, I say old as it doesn’t seem there are many number 10s around anymore, he would be a fantastic player. 2 central midfielders behind him to recover any lost balls and provide support. 2 wide players with pace for him to slide through balls to all day and a top finisher through the middle. This would be hagis best position and set up to make up for his lack of pace and get best out of his talent.

14 Dec 2020 13:18:04
20 million some folk haveing a laugh be lucky to get 10.

14 Dec 2020 13:51:30
I’d be happy to get £5m as were never going to get the best out of him in the system we play.

14 Dec 2020 14:14:18
In gerrardwetrust, good to see there's someone else who realises that No.10s are a dying breed, often a luxury teams cannot afford and now nearly as old fashioned as an inside right or inside left. As good as he is, Hagi will never be a top player because sadly he lacks pace, he lacks work rate and he lacks energy, all necessary in the modern game for attacking players.

14 Dec 2020 14:36:57
As I said take it or leave it. To ward sampdoria off even putting a bid in but some people can't grasp the concept of that I presume with your replys. as I said give him time as there's a player there. sell hagi on the cheap or keep him. I'd rather keep him. just to note has Davis arfield jack got pace?

14 Dec 2020 15:29:28
I would sell never thought we should've signed him in the first place.

14 Dec 2020 16:18:39
Unless we received big offer for Hagi (£12m) I would not sell Hagi in January. The boy has class and can still make a significant contribution to our success this season.

14 Dec 2020 16:49:03
I definitely think the 10 is fast disappearing from modern game, however doesn’t mean it has to. 442 was only a distant memory when Leicester deployed it and stuck to it no matter the opposition. And they won the epl. Hagi could be a great player, like I said riquelme and Ortega as examples were not blessed with pace or work rate but wow. Great players in the right team and system. Perhaps serie A or la liga would suit hagi better.

14 Dec 2020 17:00:27
Bankie not a chance re that sort of money, I’d say 6 million nearer his value IMO.

14 Dec 2020 17:50:50
Davie is off his rocker, 20m haji 50m morelos. Seriously worried about this guy 🙈.

14 Dec 2020 18:16:55
Me2 I was the same didn’t want him signed either.

He just doesn’t suit the way we play.

14 Dec 2020 19:46:56
I said on the day he signed he would never make it here, 20 million eh, are you a windup or genuinely know nothing about football mate, I always thought the nonselse about Morelos was a windup, couldn’t possibly be real, now I know it was, 20 m for a Rangers sub nowadays eh, fxxk we must be the best in the world eh.

14 Dec 2020 20:42:29
Tomthumb we are the greatest in the world however no, hagi ain’t worth 2” n Alfie ain’t worth 5” 😂 I know me n u have had were moments but let’s be pals 👍.

14 Dec 2020 21:12:39
20m to " ward sampdoria off " yet more drivel, if they offered Rangers that figure for a substitute who only cost a quarter of that fee, or probably less, only to see him struggle badly then Rangers would without question not be " warding anyone off " mate i can assure you of that, they would be chartering a flight to Italy , tomorrow morning probably, hagi will travel between many clubs across Europe, and his fathers reputation will see him ok, but imo, he simply does not have it to be a top player, I would put money on him playing for around 12 clubs before he's 30, and 20 million, maybe we should send him on loan then offer him for 50.

14 Dec 2020 21:38:22
Agree Tom, he reputably cost us three million, according to papers about six teams interested in him. Fee being quoted 6 million, I’m sure when we signed him it said there was a hefty sell on clause.
I agree with u Tom he will play for multiple clubs in his career.

14 Dec 2020 23:04:37
Yes John, but we could always loan him to arsenal.

15 Dec 2020 05:01:31
I love your optimism Davie Douglas on the players prices. Just to ask if it was yourself who advised castore on the £170 price tag for the Rangers hoodies on sale in the Rangers shop?
