With the current local lockdown in place in Glasgow surely it will be rejected?
Unless that's been lifted by the end of the International break?

03 Sep 2020 15:55:26
Won’t be next home game mate, that was pencilled in but has been shelved due to parts of Glasgow being back into lockdown, although talks are taking place for future games should lockdown be lifted.

03 Sep 2020 16:15:04
Glasgow is not in lockdown. It’s a restriction on household gatherings. Does not necessarily mean fans will not be allowed in as these are controlled areas.

Jimmy krankie said she will reject any proposals from
Either side of the old firm. Sure I seen that yesterday.

Your right 12thman, Rangers v United was supposed to be a test event, now shelved until RESTRICTIONS (sorry for calling it lockdown bearmode) are lifted.

03 Sep 2020 17:09:19
Ah, ok guys, thought it was the next game 👍🇬🇧.

03 Sep 2020 17:24:35
You are quite right seeker, next game was supposed to be used as a test event, however with what is happening not it is not being allowed, hopefully we can get crowds back safely soon although I wouldn’t like the job of selecting a % of 47,500 season ticket holders to get access 😂.

03 Sep 2020 18:00:15
BBC Sport Have just tweeted confirming we won’t be allowed fans until after the restrictions are lifted 😂🤦🏻‍♂️ Ignore my last post then 🙄 joke tbh. Can go everywhere else. Football fans being shafted yet again.

03 Sep 2020 18:23:15
I’m with u on this one bearmode, got to the pub and get slosshed but don’t go to yer mates Hoose or the football.

03 Sep 2020 19:09:57
I don’t think it has anything at all to do with football fans being “ shafted” mate

It’s on the rise again and they don’t know what exactly they should do, I was at Leverkusen game, I wonder how many people were infected that night, I understand it’s about segregated fans now but it’s very difficult situation, don’t think football can ask for special treatment.

It’s odd though that you are allowed 400 people in a bingo hall in Glasgow but not allowed 400 people in a footballl stadium in Glasgow.

{Ed001's Note - the point is you wouldn't have another 40,000 trying to get in to a bingo hall, whereas football fans will try anything to get to see the match live.}

04 Sep 2020 17:05:22
Sorry Ed but I don’t agree with that. Plenty of other countries have had some fans back in stadiums and I’m not aware of any issues with other fans wanting to get in. The Brighton chairman was on the radio the other day saying the test event they did at the Chelsea match went well. There has been no evidence so far that other fans will try to get into a stadium during a test event.

{Ed001's Note - that was a friendly! Most people don't want to go to a friendly. I don't care what you agree with, I was telling you why they were treating it differently. You only have to look at the scenes at PSG when thousands were outside their stadium, or Anfield after the title was won etc, to see that football fans on the whole are morons and will make a mess of anything.}

Couldn’t have put it better myself boss, btw has the Covenanter recovered from the sore lip you gave him lol.

{Ed001's Note - he was making multiple accounts to post up trolling posts so he was deleted and all the accounts.}

Looks as though you can’t disagree with some of the editors without them getting on their high horse. The fact remains that they won’t just go from no crowds to full crowds so gradually crowds will be re introduced. If what you are saying was true then there would be no crowds at games until you can get full capacity as they authorities would be too scared that 40,000 would turn up. Your argument makes no sense and there isn’t any point getting all huffy about it.

{Ed001's Note - what are you wittering on about? You are the only one arguing, I just told you why they were treating bingo halls differently from football crowds. Just because you disagree with the reasoning doesn't mean it is not the reasoning they use. Not my fault you seem unable to understand it, or that you seem to have missed the point that the plan is to gradually increase crowds in the future and think you are making some point that has been missed.}

04 Sep 2020 22:25:39
It’s perfectly clear what I am on about and frankly your comment was ludicrous about 40,000 people suddenly turning up at a football test event. How can you say gradually introduce crowds to grounds if you think 40,000 will suddenly turn up? Your so far out of touch of reality it’s laughable. No point going on with this as you are so deluded. You don’t seem to grasp reality.

{Ed001's Note - what are you talking about? You are still missing the point. This is not my opinion. I am telling you the reasoning that is behind why they didn't open up football as well as pubs etc. You call me deluded and you are too deluded to understand what is being said. Just give up. You are only making a fool of yourself.}

07 Sep 2020 13:33:11
Pubs and bingo halls are only open because they can put in screens etc. Do you really see any football club putting in rows and rows of screening to keep fans apart?
