He proved on weekly basis he had no appetite for the fight in a season that requires that more than anything else. Since leaving Rangers he could not secure a start in the Wigan 1sr team.

Problem with Windass was his arrogance and general bad attitude. The boy has talent and knows where the net is and that’s in a poor Gers side who created far less opportunities.
Maybe now he’s realised what he’s left behind and has hopefully matured a bit, for a nominal fee he might actually be a good addition.
He’s the type of player you need when teams pack the bus as a different option to create and score.
Like I said if it’s a nominal fee or loan signing I’d be happy enough.

It was on rangers web site videos when they where training Gerrard applauding him n loving his knack for goal, seemly windass never knew he was for sale until he got a message an hour before telling him to head down the road, Gerrard also wasn't part of this as few players had too go too free up funds, but few folk ie halliday n tav where suprized n might be hear say but gerrard wanted him too stay n fight for his place, buf somdy had to go too free uo wages ext.

Good striker but not at the level we require! Windass been and gone, we would be going backwards bringing him back! We need a Dykes or a maric to partner a very good striker that's recognised! I wouldn't mind an Andre Grey, big Vydra from burnley or someone with that kind of quality.

If Wigan still owe us cash for Windass then it’s a no brainier to take him back for nowt. He would be playing in a better side (if he manages to get into first XI) and will have a sell on fee If he doesn’t perform. For what he lacked in heart he made up for with goals.
