Kent's representatives stating they feel a loan is still not out of the question despite Klopp stating he prefers to sell.
Been told last night Rangers are readying a loan to buy bid.
£2m loan Fee with option to buy for £5.5m at end of season.
I would have expected £2m loan fee anyway so £5.5m to buy him seems fair and realistic, I'd imagine Liverpool will want sell on etc but sounds plausible for me let's hope it materialises as he's final piece of jigsaw for me this season.

The £2m loan fee could be part of the package to buy Kent, effectively paying more now and the balance at the end of the season. Seems feasible enough.

I don't believe a 2m loan fee with option to buy but I hope it's true. He'd be a steal for that.

How can anyone state that Kent is better than our other wide players when the others have only played a handful of games?
Kent arrived last year with a tarnished reputation and took a while to get into his stride.
Our new signings have mainly performed better than Kent did in his first few games but already many on here have decided that they are not of the same quality.
Liverpool don’t feel that he is good enough for them to keep and I don’t yet see a queue of EPL teams rushing to buy him and yet we are wetting ourselves to get him signed - not for me.

That deal would make some sense that would be costing us 7.5mil for him. Liverpool may go for that if their price tag hasn't been met during the English window. Would be excellent piece of the business if we pull that off. Could keep him another season and double money if he kicks on again. I think he would finish off our attack providing morelos stays. Think we would have a bit of everything going forward and defenders would fear us again.

A £1m loan Fee last season when he was out of sorts so £2m this season seems feasible to me especially if it’s basically coming off the balance to purchase.
Heard more than my fair share on Kent this summer do until it’s official it’s just another rumour but fingers crossed there’s something in it the more quality players we have the better.

For the record, Liverpool was getting 500k from Rangers for the Season!
Now there is no way he is worth 2m a season don't be silly!
Realistically Liverpool will be looking for 1m for this season I reckon we would be best moving on ðŸ‘.

Yeah it was £500k fee and £10k weekly wages not just a 1 off fee of £1m.
Anyway let’s see if we can broker some sort of deal.

I like Kent he's a good player and young enough to improve massively but you can see he is playing for the badge and that's worth millions to me straight off the bat.
In an ideal world i'd get him back on loan for around 1m with an option to buy at around 5m over a couple of years, get him on a 5 year deal. Failing that hopefully he will play reserves for a year and we get him for 2m next year we've got bags of wingers anyway!

You're mental if you're not bothered about kent joining. Before i say this, i fully understand that they javent played many games yet, but ojo and hastie are pace merchants and not much else. Ojo doesn't look much better himself. Kent is far better than all 3. He 100% is the missing piece of our puzzle. We need him and a 3rd striker and the league looks tasty. Without them i think we will come up short in attack and inevitably the league.

Can’t believe there are guys on here thinking we have better than Kent in that position. With regards to no EPL team coming in for him, Jones was on a free and an International player and yet nobody was clambering over themselves to get him.
Don’t think Murphy has what Kent has either.
Kent was young player of year for a reason last year.
