Not sure how much truth is in this as we have just sent McCrorie and Rossiter our on loan ourselves to trim CM a bit but heard off a few people that Billy Gilmour from Chelsea returning on a season loan is being explored by the club.
Don't shoot the messenger just passing on what Iv heard.
Did notice he was left out their squad to Japan now some of their 1st team players have returned so probably would be available.

Gilmour is likely to hit the first team in Chelsea this season. He’s having a great preseason.

GAFG gilmour is a kid still.

He might only be 18 but he trained with Rangers 1st team when he was 15, he was promoted to Chelsea 23s squad last year and was 1 of their best players.
He’s also played for Scotland U21’s a good few times as well.
I think he would be better than Greg Docherty and a good addition to our squad if we were to bring him in on loan.

Gilmour chose to go, why develop him for Chelsea.
We have our own players.
