Heard we are looking at central defender Simon Deli from slavia Prague. Ivory coast international, 27 year old. Other than that, don't know anything about the guy.

Transfermarkt has him valued at €4.5M. If there’s any truth in the rumour then you’d have to assume he’s been properly scouted. Time will tell.

Just seen that Gerrard has said there's no truth in this, but we're in talks to sign a defender and the gaffer is hoping it's done by the end of the week. Will be a permanent signing.

Simon Deli would be a perfect fit for Rangers If the player hadn't had so many injuries he would've been at a bigger club than Slavia Prague and Rangers are that
On his day, he would be our best centre back Ideally, we need cover at the back and he can give that in abundance To play him in 20-30 games a Season would be best but if he's injury free there is a good chance he will steal that off of Katic or Goldson (whoever isn't as consistent) That's what its all about having competition for place and playing the best
Get him in for the 1.7m He will be on wages of between 7-10k a week!
