Surely, we would not be happy taking a player who is considering jumping from a sinking ship. That would just be hypocritical.

Magennis' first goal for Aberdeen was an own goal when he helped celtic beat them 9-0. That was back in the day when celtic used to take 30 goals a season off them.
He is an awkward ungainly striker who does not score a lot of goals. He can be a nuisance upfront but would rather he was a nuisance for some other team.

Underwhemed to be linked with a mediocre play such as JM already have mediocre players in house. so why sign another one?
