Thoughts on us being linked with shinnie. When you see Man U playing youths I would rather we find some young hungry players that have come through Aichinhowie. Might be a decent squad player but not a top pick. Not Rangers class from what I can see.

I heard it was a done deal. The usual - a friend of a friend etc. Wouldn't be delighted at the news but could be a decent squad player. And him and Broon don't like each other which is a bonus!

I think you guys are underrating Shinnie. He’s a better CM than McCrorie, Halliday, Docherty, Holt, Coulibaly or Rossiter. He’s solid, plays well in the big games and is consistently good.
He’s a leader and a winner who will only improve training and playing with better players.
For a free transfer it’s a no brainer. Nobody’s saying he’s an automatic pick in stating line up but as mentioned I think he’s better than a few CM we have so he will improve overall squad, his versatility as LB is a big bonus with Barisics injury issues and Waldo about to leave at end of contract.

Shinnie is a good player and IF and its a big IF, with our own young players coming through + our current squad, we were short of players in midfield great. As is though it would just add to our wage bill. We do need a creative mid who scores 10+ goals a year.

Definitely a mixed bag of opinions there troops, my tuppence worth is this, I'm in the good signing camp though perhaps not automatic pick for first eleven. I like his tenacity and he's a hard competitor however, better than what we've got, sign him and see?

Hearing a bit of a rumour about morelos being lined up by RB Leipzig if they part company with Werner, doubt there's much truth but you never know.

Si Ferry saying that he think we'll bid for McKenna and sign shinnie in the summer. Don't think it's unlikely if morelos leaves with worral and the loans leaving. First I've heard of a possible move for McKenna but I'd take shinnie.

Aberdeen came out in the summer and said Celtic couldn't afford McKenna. Villa were looking at chucking about £8m at him I think. We're spending no more than £4m on a player absolute tops, even then I would be amazed. Our summer business will be pre-contracts, frees, loans and the odd player at £1m or £2m. If we sell Morelos for £20m+ and maybe a couple of others then we might creep up to a couple of £4m players.

Only passing on and sharing what i've heard. I honestly don't think we need graeme shinnie anyway. We have too much of the same types of midfielder, currently at ibrox!

I’ve seen the boy Romeo a couple of times this seaon mainly coming off the bench at Millwall. Tidy player, more like Logan at the sheep than Tav. Certainly not the attackng threat of Tav.
