from chelsea site.....
There seems to be some rumours that Josh McEachran is off to Rangers for a season long loan. Is there any truth in this? I personally think this would be a bad idea and should stay with Chelsea this season. {Ed018's Note - I have not heard this and this would not be a good idea}

Believable6 Unbelievable16

Couldnt be any worse than edu

Agree0 Disagree0

I wuld luv to see this happen as he was very comfortable today and just sprays the passes and wuld let davis get alot deeper and has real potential but i deffo think boas sees him in his 25man squad wuld luv to b wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why take someone on loan thats not any better than our own youngsters, id have ness and hutton in my team b4 him

Agree0 Disagree0

Ask ED 02 shes supposed to know all things Chelsea

Agree0 Disagree0

This boy is defo a star and we would do well to get him but with essien injured and chelsea not having a big first team squad i doubt if we will as he has been used alot in pre season and is lookin like they are moulding him to be new lampard. also he is only 18 so does not need to be named in 25 man squad as it doesnt include u21s

Agree0 Disagree0

Eh lets think about this, this boy is being spoken about for a full England call up already with Capello keen on him getting first team football. He is miles ahead of Hutton and Ness, why the f*** in a team that is badly struggling would you not want a boy of this quality. What world are you lot from that think this is a bad idea ??

from a good source i hear rangers are tracking a bosnian free agent striker Zlatan Muslimovic from what i hear he is a awesome player

Believable10 Unbelievable20

Whyte said fee too high

Agree0 Disagree0

This the former Udinese striker that spent 7 seasons on loan? Wonderful.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good player tbh but i doubt it

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a great player would be awesome if we got him

Agree0 Disagree0

He is so AWESOME...(horrible overused cliched word)..that nobody wants him..get a life

hearing rumours that the roland juhasz bid has been accepted by anderlecht. no sources worth mentioning just heard it from various people. bid is around £3mil

Believable12 Unbelievable17

According to SSN they've just sold Lakuku to Chelsea for £18M so they're not going to be short of cash.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jihasz doesnt look like hes coming, met Gordan Smith outside ibrox today after game, he was sighning autographs outside main entrance of Ibrox. I asked him were we getting the Hungarian lad, he replied, No, its looking unlikely as they want too muchj money. Unless they agree to what we offered it wont happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope so, he is really good, him and goian would be great compared to boogie and weir together and then well see what appens with cuellar

Agree0 Disagree0

Met Gordan Smith outside ibrox today after game, he was sighning autographs outside main entrance of Ibrox. I asked him were we getting the Hungarian lad, he replied, No, its looking unlikely as they want too muchj money.

so gordon smith just told all the fans while signing autographs that we wont be signing this player lol aye ok declan

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy who likes to call a real rangers fan like me Declan, your deluded. At no point did i mention Gordan Smith told all the fans outside ibrox that the hungarian lad wasnt coming, he told me when I got him to sign my new away shirt. As i proberly caught him of guard with the question. And you were proberly sat in bairds bar at the time timothy.

bbc website reports mccoist is in talks with chelsea about some loan deals. hopefully sturridge? after today he and Jela would be a revelation fingers crossed

Blue Bear

Believable12 Unbelievable15

NOT A CHANCE IN HELL WILL WE EVER EVER EVER EVER GET STURRIDGE COME ON MATE, WISE UP A LITTLE BIT. JESUS, THINK BEFORE YOU POST PATHETIC COMMENTS

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope it is sturridge he looked world class today but dont think so

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he want to go to a team, which his own team had just thumped, to play in the Europa league dont make me laugh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Naive to think we'd get Sturridge in general, nevermind after today.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish Rangers would get the the cash out and stop acting like some 2 bob outfit, we know moneys tight, buy some quality players not 5 sub standard ones to go with the rest

Agree0 Disagree0

I reckon Sturridge will get first team football this season, and if not he will be off to another EPL team because they are queuing up for him...

Agree0 Disagree0

Sturridge would run riot in the spl

Agree0 Disagree0

Sturridge will be playing for chelsea next season. he looked better than torres drogba anelka and kalou

Agree0 Disagree0

Need to be stupid not to ask for sturridge but unfortunately they would have to be even more stupid to not name him in 25

Agree0 Disagree0

I really doubt they would give us sturridge, hes the next drogba

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a pathetic comment. if you read it correctly all i said is i hope its sturridge Just a personal opinion. With Drogba, Torres, Anelka and now Lukaku up front he may go on loan if he cannot get 1st team football. He went to Bolton last season and Europa league is better than no european football. So if Chelsea are mad enough to exclude him from the 25 man squad then we have just as much a chance as anyone

Blue Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

BBC does not say that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard from a well connected Chelsea fan that the lad McEachran is the most likely to be loaned to Rangers, a great prospect who needs games at this stage of his career. Is only 18 and is pushing for a place in their first team squad, but lacks experience.

BigGordi.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nae chance o stuuridge. wake up

Agree0 Disagree0

Blue Bear never stated that BBC said HOPEFULLY STURRIDGE that was his/her own personal opinion dont know about rest of you but if i could pick one there team it would be sturridge

Agree0 Disagree0

As good as he is, Sturridge won't get a look in if Chelsea sign Lukaku, which it looks like they will. He still won't come to us, though.

Verhoek bid rejected. This is the article translated through google.
"has an offer from Rangers for Wesley Verhoek rejected. The Scottish champions, last Wednesday off in the third qualifying round of the Champions League, asked for a ransom that the club did not agree.

Ally McCoist manager of The Gers have extra room in the budget for the closing of the transfer market to attract some new players. Last week, the transfer of Madjid Bougherra to the Qatari Lekhwiya about that about 2 million euros for the 28-year-old defender paid.

Of this amount was the former international Roland Juhász (Anderlecht) and Wesley Verhoek to get Ibrox. Commissioner Mark van der Kallen ADO Den Haag let the Scot know however, that a transition from the flank player does not occur.

"The Rangers have already signed up for Wesley to us, " he told Voetbal International. We have told them that a transfer is not at issue. That is simply not to talk about. Or finances played a role? Yes. The Glasgow bid was just not high enough. "

Can confirm this was posted by Den Hagg official at 3.27pm today.

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter bs. no statment has been released den hagg not giving rangers answer till after their league game tomorrow as they want his mind on the game

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true, there is something very wrong with the chairman, directors and whos evers in charge in coming up with the finacial package we are offering to clubs. its beyond a joke the amount of offers weve had rejected for players, and not only that, but the amount of times in the past 6 weeks that players have rejected out contracts why are we offering peanuts????? we will now surely miss out on verhoek and juhasz, im becoming increasingly disalusioned with our tranfer policy. they asked for 2.7million for verhoek, we offered just under 1million, they said no we want 2.7million, we offered 1.2million they then said they want 2million so we offer 1.5million and they now say thats been rejected exactly the same as the goodwillie situation, and we missed out on him weve had 3 bids rejected for jahusz , we had 2 offers for cuellar rejected then our next accepted, 3 offers for verhoek rejected, 2 offers for murray davidson rejected, 7 bids for goodwillie rejected, 1 offer for miller rejeced, 3 offers for wallace rejected before we got him for 1.5million ( we offered 300k to begin with, thats really really starnge coz its a long way off wot we paid for him, so im thinkinwe havnt got a clue wot were doin?) 3 bids rejected for alajndro bodaya, im not makin this up, every player we go for the bid gets rejected, on top of that you have tomer hemed, neil danns, david vaughan, conway all rejecting our contracts, please let me know if im missing anyone its hard to keep up lol BUT TO ALL YOU FELLOW GERS FANS, LIKE I SAID I HAVNT JUST MADE THIS UP, WE ARE BEING REJECTED FOR EVERY SINGLE PLAYER WE HAVE BID FOR, ITS NO COINSIDENCE, WE AS A CLUB WITH A NEW CHAIRMAN NEW BOARD AND GORDON SMITH HAVNT GOT A CLUE ABOUT PLAYER VALUES AND HOW TO NEGOTIATE CONTRACTS. IM REALLY REALLY WORRIED ABOUT THE FACT THAT ALL THESE BIDS ARE BEIN REJECTED, IM BEHIND ALLY 100% THO. HOPE WE TURN THINGS AROUND WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Just seen the articule and if you read the articule it says that it was the older bid of 1.7 mill they have thrown out. and the new bid was been considered. like i said no will be given till after the weekends league game.

Just heard Rangers are to get michael owen on loan till jan to help get him fit, source: my dad has a horse at michael's yard. Check the details, horses name is Isobelle

Believable2 Unbelievable25

Even if this is somehow remotely true, why the f*** would we need another Beattie and Healy.

We need a young FIT and fast profilic goalscorer alongside Jelavic, not some hasbeen looking for fitness.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont want him at ibrox hes a diddy , youst to be good

Agree0 Disagree0

Straight from the horses mouth it must be true then. i heard rangers have no problem with paying his wages. or did you forget that?. been a long time since he was a player.

Agree0 Disagree0

When is Isobelle going to win? can you tell your dad to tell mr whyte to put some money on it.ps to first reply behave yourself thats obviously a kid that posted that

Agree0 Disagree0

I would have thought if he was the loan ranger the horse would be called trigger

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant see this being true. In the off chance that it is I would welcome it. He is only 31 (same age as Miller who many made a song and dance about us not getting, and is a better player) and will still feel he has plenty to offer which im sure he has. Get him fit and keep him fit and he and Jelavic would run riot.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a jockey that rides for a yard in milnathort and heard this rumour on Thur from a reliable source in horse riding circles down south.

If true I think he would bring something different to the team

Agree0 Disagree0

The horse called isobel belongs to michael owens wife louise. He bought her the horse in 2003 and its not a racehorse it was bred for showjumping. I dont think we will see him anywhere near Ibrox

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard also depend whos paying his wages

Agree0 Disagree0

A think he would be great for spl he is is fast and sharp and eye for goal

Agree0 Disagree0

To the jockey can you give mr whyte some tips

Agree0 Disagree0

Better of signing his horse.. its injured less

Agree0 Disagree0

I take it that Owen will be with us to get him fit for riding the horse at showjumping trials, he is nearly 32 now and I think him and isobel will make a great partnership, however hope he stays away from Ibrox as he would need a shergar to keep up with Jelovic.

Agree0 Disagree0

No way do we what Owen, he wont get the time on the ball here, cant see it dont want it, his wages must be over the top
{Ed047's Note - this has been a very amusing thread, a lot of funny one-liners but please let's draw a line under it. Neigh Mare please

Agree0 Disagree0

Its true owen to ibrox man utd paying majority of his wages he is fit mr ferguson doing us a favour this true {Ed047's Note - source still Isobelle or do you have something stronger? I'm fed up with all this horsing around

Gets bid for verhoek has been rejected.
Den Haag commissioner Mark van der Kallen tells Voetbal International they've rejected Rangers 2nd bid for Wesley Verhoek. "Not high enough"

Believable16 Unbelievable4

Where you getting this info from

Agree0 Disagree0

If the quote of 2m euros is correct then its really bad as that works out as the bougie money and they were biddin for verhoek b4 he was going

Agree0 Disagree0

Your Source mate is ????????..

Agree0 Disagree0

Getting f***ing sick of this now

Agree0 Disagree0

Time to let this one go. Cant be bothered with another Goodwillie style soap opera

Agree0 Disagree0

Am just back from amsterdam beleif over there is he has his heart set on rangers . he will be our player in time to play net weekend w.a.t.p

Agree0 Disagree0

WHO IS THIS TEAM GETS? I THINK YOU SHOULD LEARN HOW TO SPELL BEFORE POSTING RUBBISH ON HERE

Agree0 Disagree0

Who would have thought that Mr Whyte would put in a lower bid than club wanted, imagine that Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Wesley Ver Hoek issued a come and get me plea to Gers 2 weeks ago . I believe we will nail him and i really hoping we do i know neil Murray a scout at Rangers and he has told me this guy is special so heres hoping we can get him im am confident of gers signing him .

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers stop messing around pay the asking price or we'll get no one in

Agree0 Disagree0

What rankers not offering the best price? no i hear you cry. it cant be true. LMFAO
The thunders coming. FAIL FAIL

Agree0 Disagree0

Shocker seriously man ru sure?. 7 bids f goodwillie 2 bids bedoya 2 bids davidson 2 bids juhaz 2 bids verhoek thats 15 refusals and im sure theres more but im stumped. so ally has told us more faces by monday. MY ARSE. im not overly concerned as we will sign new players but as i said 15 offers rejected? have you ever heard anything like it?. i would not be surprised if clubs start to tell rangers we dont want to do buisness with you this is insulting and a waste of our time in dealing with such silly offers we told you what our player is worth so forget it.

Agree0 Disagree0

How simple can it be, pay the players valuation then he signstake a tip whyte your supposed to be the bigwig businessman too

Agree0 Disagree0

It's business. Pay over the t odds an we will suffer in the long run. Watch and learn doubters. Bad knob wasn't worth it to us and chose to go to a u usettle for second best epl team cause he was scared away from Glasgow by the big bald boss.....we are looking at quality players no championship run abouts Like the septic

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes i agree pure guff ma man NUMPTY

Agree0 Disagree0

U on drugs mate murphy is mince

Agree0 Disagree0

We've got a £3m bid in for Juhasz, £2m for Verhoek and £2m for Cuellar... but we need more money for Davidson, aye right

Agree0 Disagree0

Where you hearing this?

Agree0 Disagree0

They don't need extra money

Agree0 Disagree0

Murphy isnt mince, better prospect than badwillie

Agree0 Disagree0

Liar. full of your own self importance. and can i just suggest you stop this fleck here fleck there rubbish it has no foundation. fleck is a good player he is only 20 and we have yet to play the boy in positipn but as your a die hard you allready know this right.

Agree0 Disagree0

As a die hard i know hes been given more chances than any other youngster at the club

Agree0 Disagree0

Fleck was the only player against Chelsea who looked to create anything. Not a chance will he be sold.

Forest have first dibs on Wesley Verhoek. If they don't cough up 2 million Euros then Rangers gets a chance according to de telegraaf.

www.telegraaf.nl/telesport/voetbal/nationaal/10316722/__ADO_laat_Verhoek_vertrekken__.html?p=2, 2

Part translation:
There have been talks with Nottingham Forest on the direct transfer to England of 2 million Euros.

Only if Nottingham can not figure this weekend, is the Glasgow Rangers still in the picture.

Believable8 Unbelievable13

I dont think we will get him tbh

Agree0 Disagree0

Duznt matter if they agree a price. the boy has already said that he duznt want to go to championship. he says he wants to come to the champs

Agree0 Disagree0

I do not know why we come on here lying. He actually said he would prefer to team up with steve maclaren and Forrest.

Agree0 Disagree0

1.7m for a young player of that class who is eager to play for us if thats not a good investment i dont know

Agree0 Disagree0

Ur spouting sh()te pal rangers had a 2 mil euro bid rejected and are you telling me if rangers offer more than forest they will sell him for less?. stay off the green.

Whyte is doing wonders for rangers, I have faith.

Believable20 Unbelievable25

I agree he is doing a fantastic job and think he should be at rangers for years to com

Agree0 Disagree0

Please dont me make cry with laughter, hes letting us down.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers should pay the asking price for verhoek and stop messing around. {Ed047's Note - absolutely

Agree0 Disagree0

I think C.W posted that himself {CW's Note - no I didn't, I mean no he didn't

Agree0 Disagree0

REALLY, I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE TOO BUSY IN THE TRANSFER MARKET MR WHYTE. YOU REALLY ARE A BUSY MAN.LOL {Ed047's Note - nope, his bids are in place and he's just sitting there, by the phone, laptop on his knee.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's trying to get the best value for money. Finally we are being ran like a business. This time last year we had nobody signed up and players contracts were running out. Judge him at the end of the transfer window. {Ed047's Note - funny how people forget that already

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember he walked into a club on his knees. We punched well above our weight last season againts a really pishy SPL including the great unwashed. Its gonna b a tough rebuilding job but hes tryin to upgrade Ibrox and that defo needs done. The food is just awful there. Im sure he will get players in. Think were just a little too impatient sometimes. Still would like to see a really class palyer arrive. Somethin to give us the WOW factor coz we have lacked that for many years.....

Agree0 Disagree0

CW is not, I repeat is NOT a oil barron, King or sheik. He is not a Russian Billionaire. What he IS, is a business man and Gers man(don't car if you beleave that) who doesn't want to just spend spend spend. Have we not won the league 3 years in a row with just a few players? Has he not gotten our best players locked down on long term deals? Why are all of you suppose of "loyal" Gers fans sounding like the mhanky mob? Get behind the team , management and all or piss off. SIMPLES

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not letting us down at all. Yes the lack of transfers is frustrating but where would we have been without him? we would be having to accept obscene bids for davis, mcgreggor and whittaker. Getting them signed up was vital {Ed047's Note - took the words right out of my mouth

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont knock a guy who was willing to put his money into the clubHe wants value for money, and why not we were under the banks control due to over paying for poor to average players or player unable to play through injuryno more prodans or flos please

Agree0 Disagree0

Moan the gers we are aw arguing each other a think we will come good gee it time we will get players in theres still a couple a weeks left 4iar watp

Agree0 Disagree0

I think after a few signings, some youth team comin thru and we can start making money off of our youth facillities i think we will be a much better team. The damage caused by overspending thru 9 in a row and obscene transfers like porrini and flo will take some time to fix. Now we have the banks off our backs and a chairman that wont let it happen again we will b fine.

Agree0 Disagree0

Look what Advocaat spent at Rangers, over 100 million. Where did that get us? NOWHERE We've just recovered from it now. Whyte is doing the right thing spend wisely and get the RIGHT players in. He aint Russian and he aint a billionaire Get real people.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye, lets see where aw you whyte fans are when maribor knock us oot ae europe and the manky mob have the league wrapped up by xmas, beong a shrewd businessman doesnt win matches n if anyone has watchd us this season we're pish and because of the joke transfer bids a laughing stock on britain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Considering if whyte didnt buy were would we b now keep faith

Agree0 Disagree0

Just wish we would stop spending money on players like Ortiz and give these young bears the chance they need, they can't impress from the bench or stand and tbh the like's of macmillen and perry could easilly replace broadfoot etc

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep the faith keep believing get behind Craig whyte and our management team there are good signs all around if we want to see them new signings loan deal for Bartley good young players coming through we are in control of our own finances the future is bright give ally and whyte some leeway all will be well

Ally McCoist is waiting to learn whether Rangers' bids for Roland Juhasz and Wesley Verhoek have been accepted.

The Gers boss is keen to bolster his numbers and lodged fresh offers for the pair earlier this week before their return leg against Malmo.

Believable7 Unbelievable5

I'll bet its another two ridiculous offers and two knockbacks which is becoming the norm for us
F.F.S whyte do the right thing and get these two guys in

Agree0 Disagree0

Crackin post . Now tell us something we dont know.

Agree0 Disagree0

The fact is if he had paid what dundee utd were asking in the first place for GW we could have had him for 2mill. In the end we were floundering around offering far more. Whyte - offer what players are worth dont just offer £5 more each time hoping they'll cave in its pathetic

Agree0 Disagree0

Verhoek has stated he would rather go to forest give the choice source numerous tabloids so i will not hold my breath

Agree0 Disagree0

We are already out to Malmo you know? {Ed047's Note - I think that was a quote from some source prior to the Malmo game. Bids were placed earlier.

Agree0 Disagree0

Verhoek was direct quoted Forest good club Rangers DREAM club

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes supported them his whole life used to fly every weekend for the games, give us peace, he will go to whoever offers the most money just like goodwillie, if he had wanted to play for rangers he could have done plenty to force a move to them, even if rangers had made an acceptable bid he would have went with the team who offered him the best deal.fab1

fleck to blackpool (hopefully on loan) ness man u ? bartley back (well chuffed)

Believable6 Unbelievable21

Ness to man u?? dont talk mince

Agree0 Disagree0

Ness won't be going anywhere. He is our prize youth asset and will feature heavily this season.

RB.

Agree0 Disagree0

Man u r you playing manager mode on the playstation again 1

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you on drugs?. rangers cant give players away they need to keep players like fleck. as for ness man u? seriously have you seen some of the man u youngsters?. bunnit.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldnt blame ness if he wanted a transfer if they are going to sign (the magnificent according to some)Murray Davidson and he gets a game a would jump at a move after all was it not venger who was interested and they give there youth a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

If ness doesnt get a start infront of Edu this season id want away as well. The boy played excellent when he had the chances and edu could be doin with a few games out of the limelight

Agree0 Disagree0

If Ness had been fit he would have been playing.

Agree0 Disagree0

I really want to see Nes have a sustained run in the first team, watched him today and he needs to get fit and have game time, soon On that note, it was too easy for Chelsea today, but my two boys are big fans and it was a win win game for us all, the Chelsea fans were brilliant today..... " Chelsea, Rangers, Chelsea, Rangers HELLO HELLO
