I'm hearing from a reliable source that MOH is absolutely hating life at Rangers and can't wait to leave. Also, the players in general are not enamoured with PC or his training methods.

Apparently during one session he was advising them to "caress the ball". Nobody had an idea as to what he was on about!
Funnily enough I heard his after match comments the other night and for the life of me I didn't know what he was talking about. Worrying times.

06 Apr 2017 23:39:04
Because he has been found out for being the avarage at best player he is pace and nothing else

07 Apr 2017 00:51:49
Need to suck it up and get on with it if they aren't happy tough the fans have had 5 years of it being tough and soldierd on as for MOH if he isn't happy bolt won't be missed.

07 Apr 2017 08:02:18
A first touch like nacho novo, brutal!

07 Apr 2017 09:05:48
"Caress the ball" means look after the ball, good touch, find a team mate, you know the basics of a good footballer. the players should start listening to Pedro rather moaning! The extra Wednesday training session should be spent on hitting the target our poor goal return is why we are so far off the pace.

07 Apr 2017 10:53:15
Ohh a coach with some actual ideas who doesn't want to hump it beyond the fullbacks like your normal Scottish coaches. No wonder our players are getting a shock. They done it to PLG and they will try to do it to PC but our club needs to be modernised.

07 Apr 2017 11:23:58
Yeah caress it, look after it, keep it, hold onto it, control it. Can't do any of the above and don't understand what the manager is talking about. Doesn't surprise me one bit. Team full of 3rd division players wanting to play kick and rush because they got found out this year

07 Apr 2017 14:07:03
If that's the case maybe they should spend the extra day on Wednesday doing some english lessons as it's quite simple to understand what is meant by "caress the ball". Sounds more like players are either thick or acting facetious.

07 Apr 2017 12:56:45
Jim Baxter, Pele and George Best all talked about caressing the ball, but you're saying the players don't understand what it means? And maybe MOH hates it because he's not up to it, he's been found out as someone who couldn't caress the ball if his life depended on it. Funny, most players have been reported elsewhere as really enjoying the training sessions, but obviously it's a rumours site so you can say the first thing that comes into your head.

07 Apr 2017 13:22:13
I will drive him or any other of the bang average players we have on our books to whichever team in the uk they "think" will want to employ them, only Foderingham and the youngsters excluded from that!

07 Apr 2017 13:24:13
Could be something in it as anytime I have seen footage of them in training the players have looked a bit non plussed when Pedro has been talking to them, not much to go on I know but wouldn't surprise me all the same.

07 Apr 2017 13:28:51
Both MCKay and Ohalloran are major under achievers at rangers principally because they both have ability but for whatever reason don't produce often enough. In O'haaloran's case he hasn't produced since joining the club. They can both go. Get some decent cash for them and march on.

07 Apr 2017 13:38:34
Well said Reidy09, its not exactly rocket science and if a pro footballer doesn't no what that means we really are in trouble. and as for MOH, i'm absolutely hating him being in the squad.

07 Apr 2017 13:41:28
Why not say hold it, pass it, play it. Keep it simple. Always the best way. Obviously not for the football managers on here.

07 Apr 2017 15:07:46
They don't understand 1 word and you want to replace it with 4. still think they won't get it as they just don't care nor want to buy in as they are use to the easy holiday camp they had under the bread man and going back to mccoist times as well.

07 Apr 2017 15:57:31
Seeker, how do you know he doesn't use these terms as well? Hold it, pass it, play it, nothing there about touch and control, which is what real players understand by 'caressing' the ball.

07 Apr 2017 22:53:33
Wait and see what caressing the ball will mean to Pedro when he listens to 50,000 bears baying for his blood. I just have a really bad feeling guys. I hope to god I'm wrong please believe me. I always try and remain positive but I just can't shake the feeling. And btw wee ecky I didn't make up the post. It's what I've heard from someone close to MOH. Maybe someone will bail me out?

08 Apr 2017 13:32:39
MOH has been a major disappointment since joining us, McKay plays one good game in five, Halliday, Waghorn and Kieran haven't had a decent game in the Top league. Personally this would be the first bunch I would target to offload and hopefully secure some transfer fees on.
Problem is that you then need five replacements plus replacements for the three at the end of their contracts and that means that Pedro needs to sign eight quality players jut to stand still albeit with a better quality of player.
To secure the quality required we need to find some real gems at relatively low cost or we just continue on the downward spiral that we have been on for years.

Have it on good authority that kevin thomson is likely to be appointed as pedro caixinha's no.3, early next week! Thomo impressed caixinha greatly, at his interview! My source is a good pal of our ex striker steven mclean, who is kevin thomson's cousin! Only sharing with my fellow bears to what i've been told!

What do we think fellow bears, would it be a good appointment in your eyes or not? I think it would be a good appointment although my no.1 choice would have been barry ferguson!

06 Apr 2017 21:27:03
Thomson? No where near good enough. ferguson is an arrogant has been who shouldn't be anywhere near a football team little lone a team like Rangers"

06 Apr 2017 23:33:14
Thompson is nowhere near good enough to be a no.3? Are you having a laugh! With all due respect to the role, it's a fairly inconspicuous position at the club with the focus being on the manager and to a much lesser extent the assistant. Thompson was a terrific player, with bags of experience in Scottish football as well as being part of the side that went to the UEFA Cup final. He's entirely qualified for the role, as is Ferguson IMO. Absolute nonsense to say otherwise.

07 Apr 2017 13:54:33
Thomson has his own coaching academy for young players does he not? Sounds like just the type of guy we need.

07 Apr 2017 14:58:16
Ferguson a has been? The best Scottish player of the past 20 years I think u mean

07 Apr 2017 17:13:18
I would be happy with Thomson getting no3 job good football brain.

07 Apr 2017 21:33:39
Let him be Cee, he's a Hibee obviously so he couldn't tell what decent CM is

07 Apr 2017 22:45:15
I hope you get tommo and then after a year you will say to yourself he's no good.

06 Apr 2017 21:10:04
A senior club official, who assists in the day to day running of Ibrox, has told me that today Pedro has now identified eleven players who he wants to keep next season with another four still under consideration, two because they are currently injured (Rossiter and Krankjar, maybe? ) and another two who he needs to see more of.

This eleven includes the two goalkeepers - and the two boys who started last night, so that's really seven of the current outfield playing squad, maybe a maximum of 11. That suggests he's going to try to bring in at least 8 players and promote some youngsters. God knows who all these guys are he wants to keep, because I can't see that many.

06 Apr 2017 21:27:55
And the money is coming from?

06 Apr 2017 22:32:45
What about the loanees are they part of the 11 listed players?

06 Apr 2017 22:49:34
Ajax1872, I've no idea. What you read is exactly what I was told, but I assume not. Loan players are just that, you cannot count on them as regular players. From what I heard, is seems he's making up his mind and his squad in the knowledge that some of those he'd like to get rid of will have to be kept for the sake of numbers. This leads me to speculate that he'll keep around ten outfield players, the two keepers, a couple of youngsters and that will give him about 14 of a squad. He'll obviously then need another 6-8 players, maybe including a loanee or two, of first-team standard.

06 Apr 2017 23:40:25
There's no way he's made his mind up after 3 competitive games, sorry but that ridiculous.

I would suspect he's identified targets to strengthen certain areas but to suggest that he's narrowed a playing squad of circa 25 down to 11 in such a short period of time is definately, 100% rubbish!

07 Apr 2017 13:16:15
Where is the money coming from? Same place 1.8 million came from for garner and same place 300,000 compensation came from for Pedro. I'm only half a genius myself, but I'll guess. Bank account?

07 Apr 2017 15:07:10
Why is it ridiculous when everybody else can see it. These guys have had long enough and are not of the calibre required to challenge for the league never mind play in Europe. Remember he will also be looking in training and deciding. The players not giving enough in training will be out the door. Why waste your time on any player not willing to train harder to improve, when they are esrning very good money by SPFL standards. There are no players that good that don't need it. The only players with pass marks are Emerson who is a loan and Foderingham. I think the young lad Beerman has potential.

07 Apr 2017 15:59:23
j1985, he and his coaches have seen, studied and worked with these players almost every day for a month. I would assume that the process of decision making is indeed well under way, as with an awful lot of our players it's not difficult to spot that they are rank rotten. I did express surprise that he's considering keeping so many.

07 Apr 2017 19:22:40
Ecky. Speaking from experience (I used to coach under 19's), training only shows so much of what a player can do. I had a group of 18 boys who looked like world beaters on a Monday and Wednesday at training, come Sunday they'd be average at best. Nothing we did in training improved them come match day so I truly believe that a player should ultimately be judged in a competitive playing environment. Like I said, I'd be absolutly gobsmacked if Pedro has decided at this point which players are part of his plans for next season after such a short period and with a lot of competitive football left this season.

08 Apr 2017 14:36:41
j1985, I also coached for many years and you'd be gobsmacked at where and at what level, but I'm not going to boast. Suffice to say when we had players in on trial or for development coaching, it was fairly easy to separate the wheat from the chaff quite quickly and we were very seldom wrong.

It's actually easier for Pedro as he can study CDs of previous matches to supplement what he is seeing on the pitch and at training, so it's not just current form he knows about, then matching that information up with the opinions of his staff and after a month he's firming up on decisions. That's not a short period at pro level, as I said anybody experienced looking at our squad for that length of time could easily see most of them are rotten.

08 Apr 2017 15:24:16
J1985 "nothing we did in training improved them"! I think maybe its not your players that are the problem!

06 Apr 2017 10:53:47
Heard from a pretty well informed guy that Kenny Miller is Kilmarnock bound at the end of the season.

06 Apr 2017 15:24:49
Fingers crossed!

06 Apr 2017 16:29:26
if kenny miller is not offered another year we should be going out our to find him another role at the hopefully around the youth set up a model pro whos attitude and work ethic is a perfect example to youngsters tryin to make it at our club

06 Apr 2017 19:46:44
He wants to keep playing.

06 Apr 2017 20:47:51
Hope your having a laugh or your a Kilmarnock fan Ronny, if not, that's pretty disrespectful. Kenny has been one of our best players this year, even at his age. He is also a great role model for our youngsters.

Even IF we manage to get a really good striker in the summer, I'd still like to keep him on board to help the youngsters, and come on from the bench.

06 Apr 2017 20:49:51
If kenny miller doesn't get a new deal with rangers, then he'll end up signing for hibs! I really hope and think kenny deserves a new 1 year contract with us! It would be a mistake not to give miller a new deal!

06 Apr 2017 21:29:04
Kenny said he will end his career with hibs but not really sure we would want him

06 Apr 2017 23:13:08
Camoo, the problem is that the team has been so poor this season that average players like miller and hill have been made to look better than they are. If we are going to improve and get closer to celtic next season then i'm sorry but players like kenny miller simply aren't good enough and it appears that pedro feels the same since miller has not been offered a new contract!

07 Apr 2017 13:19:08
I know that he shouldn't be one of our better players Ronny, but he has been, and he would run through a brick wall to win. That kind of mentally has a positive effect on the team that's all.

07 Apr 2017 14:59:14
He's been rotten, how many goals has he scored?
