My mate from perth tells me that michael o'halloran is definitely signing for rangers most likely in january and if not at the end of the season, this is coming from a current st. johnstone first team player who my mate talks to regular, as far as I'm concerned I think o'halloran would be a tremendous signing for us and one who warburton could develop into an even better player.

Certainly the supporters need a lift after last weekend!

Would not have minded being defeated but for (2) points

1) seemingly change of system with a more defensive set-up against hardest opponents and no apology from the management team?

2) lee Wallace comments after the game - "we are angry and will bounce back". Last season the Captain said the very seem comments almost every Saturday night at 5.00

Don't talk about winning the next game just "win" the next game!

Aye you're right 57.

Imagine changing the system for a more difficult game. Shocking. (Not see)

Agree strongly with the second point as well. I wish the captain had come out and said he wasn't bothered and anticipated a protracted slump in form.

Third and final point is spot on as well. They shouldn't be talking about winning a game still to be played - they should have won it already.

Top post mate.

Would take the boy O'halloran for sure. Would be looking at another higher quality striker being brought in as well but would rather have O'halloran than Miller.
i would rather see Warburton plunder the English leagues though seems a far better standard of player and the fact that he knows they leagues inside out. Defo some great sell on values to be made down there and I think that's what the manager specialises in, bring in young players with potential and heavily increasing their value. Just what we need.

Sorry thecampbell

To put simply for you I expect Rangers to play with more than one up front in Scotland particularly in the Championship and do their talking on the pitch not the papers!

Unless of course you support another team?

Then you should be chuffed that Warbs is playing a front 3 haha. Glad we agree finally.

I think anyone with any ounce of footballing inteligence would agree with Warburton's tactics on Sunday as we dominted for 65 mins and were much the better team. Football is a results business and yes possesison stats mean nothing if you lose the game however Barcelona, Bayern Munich and other top teams dominate games and do not always get the rewards. I am still in shock as to how we did not win the game. Here is my opinion on where it was lost.

1. Danny Wilson had a shocker, his individual performance was so bad he looked like an amatuer player out there. Reading of the game seemed to elude him and his distribution was shocking.

2. Andy Halliday has been a great signing for Rangers, his energy and passion is great to watch however he is not mature enough to be a sitting midfielder at that level. They need an old head in there to protect the back 4 especially when you have 2 fullbacks playing as wingers. hence why warbs played 3 central defenders.

3. With the exception of Waghorn we do not have an out and out striker who is clinical. On Sunday we should have been 4-1 up before Hibs scored. Similar to other recent matches we have had so many chances but only just done enough to scrape over the line.

Ill say it again, Wilson was a major mistake.
