Just seen the express reporting that we are eyeing up Barasic, this would be a terrific acquisition! IMO even though we have players in this area already, he is better than all of them and would be a definite starter with sell on value, get it done if it’s true!

Totally with you here wee_bear. Barisic was absolutely superb over the 2 legs against us! He most definitely looks a quality left back. Tav couldn't do his usual marauding, up and down the right flank, because of how good barisic was! Really hope stevie G signs him!

I agree shauney boy I think we would have scored and I agree he should have went down with the shuv and stayed down but his instinctive reaction was to lash out. Stevie had got to coach him so his instinctive reaction is to go down. but the boy likes to stand up fir himself and not be bullied. it was just a flick out to a premeditated barge. Hopefully we will appeal and it gets cut to yellow. Ryan Jack I pray he is ok . was immense today again definitely captain material. if he’s ok against the smellies Stevie should get him on broom. The thing is we need options and a player like him could give us that, I expect us to bring in a striker and a Centre half over and above any other signings but imagine going to a back 3 in some games with no wingers but barasic and Tav in the wing back roles, this would give us an opportunity to pack the midfield and play 2 up top with little defensive responsibility on the wing backs!

Reading between the lines; if Eddie Howe has agreed to this loan, I suspect he has been given some assurances re potential game time; i. e. we are going to play 3 at the back; maybe not every game at first, but I've always thought this was SG's overall preference; purely based on my own interpretation of some of his comments.

i replied to someone else’s post to confirm i’d heard the same thing - how can you possibly mis-interpret that?
the scouts initials are RG and anything he’s told me has come true. he was also the one that actually gave scott mcdermott the scoop so feel free to contact scott at the record to confirm all of that if you doubt me that much
believe me it’s true.

If I thought for one second that it was true that this "scout" was giving out confidential information like this, I'd be on to the club immediately to have him fired, but I can find no evidence that he actually exists. As for "scoop" McDermott, you're having a laugh!
