Cosgrove on off the ball in the last minute 5.47pm has said he has heard from senior BBC sports chaps that Derek Mcinnes will be unveiled as Rangers new manager on Thur.

Hope he's right as I've just read an article in the last 10 minutes saying Mark Allen is going to push the board to appoint Steve mclaren. God help us if that's true

Cosgrove's another person who scratches around trying to get any crumbs he can at the doors of Ibrox - a despised man not only at Rangers. He's fishing and catching nothing.

I don't know if true and there is no real source but I have heard rumours circling from a few fans that there is a consortium about to test Dave King to sell the club and it involves Brian Kennedy who tried his luck last year before Mike Ashley ousted him out!

I checked his status on Wiki and just found out that he sold up Sale Sharks recently Which now makes me believe furthermore that there might be truth in it

Brian Kennedy buys and sells companies for a living. he didn't just fail with rangers but also hibs. i'm not saying i wouldn't want his investment just don't see selling Sale Sharks as relevant.

I don't believe there is anything in this but anyone who buys and sells companies does so to make a profit so if anyone was to plan to do that with the club then they would have to improve its value to make a profit there for the team would have to be doing better so would need money to improve the squad

I do feel this is what Dave king and the three bears are doing but obviously there is the blue nose in them doing it for the club and themselves

Graeme Souness said the other day that Brian Kennedy’s time had come and gone.

IF Kennedy were to buy the Club I could see a few of the current Board Members being kept on. Also in my opinion Kennedy being a business man he can see that Rangers IS a long term investment. With sufficient investment and having the right men in charge to bring in Players not only to go straight into the Squad but also to get up and coming Youngsters and have the people at Ibrox to develop these Players, then again from an investment point of view then by investing X amount and achieving the goal of Qualifying for the Champions League then finacially he would be on to a winner. Not saying that Qualifying once would finacially turn the numbers round completely!
Also and this IS wishful thinking BUT if Scottish Teams could over the next 3-4 years get through the Qualifying Rounds and get into the Europa Group Sections then we could improve our Co-Efficiant and poss find ourselves with our actual League Champs going straight into CL and our Runners up into CL Qualifying Rounds! (Dont all jump down my throat)
Anyways i'm not 100% sure how the Co-Efficiant works and if this is indeed a possibility? And if any of you Bears can enlighten me please do :/
ANYWAYS if Kennedy does step in then I can see Souness being back at Ibrox, prob not as Manager but definitely in some capacity.
Got to remember that the 3 Bears and others have all helped out the Club with ZERO INTEREST LOANS! and definitely have the Club at Heart.
