Playing two up front has to be a serious option now giving Cummings' serious game time. On a side note, I could have run from main stand and scored Morelos misses. Much as I like the guy would like to know his failure rate.

04 Mar 2018 21:09:56
Top goal scorer in the league but you’d rather focus on the ones he misses. Logic.

He’s 20 years old, doing not bad I’d say. He also puts a shift in and creates.

04 Mar 2018 22:54:40
McCoist used to miss a fair amount as well but he still a legend who won us countless games. The boys at least getting into the right positions and he is only 20. Plenty of time to get better

04 Mar 2018 23:31:06
Kris Boyd would be on 30+ goals already this season if he'd had the chances Morelos has had.

05 Mar 2018 10:33:37
Jason cummings would be on 30+ goals with the chances morelos has had this season!

05 Mar 2018 10:47:21
Yes Morelos misses lots of chances and no he didn't have a great game yesterday but as Jason Cummings said he keeps getting in the right places to score and keeps coming back for more after he misses. Let's not forget the lad has been playing non stop since the start of the Finnish season last February. He deserves a break literally. Still top scorer in the SPFL despite all that.

05 Mar 2018 14:16:47
If Boyd had scored all the chances he'd missed he'd be on 30 the now too.

All strikers miss easy chances. Focus on the positives and not the negatives guys.

05 Mar 2018 14:42:20
Bit suss that so many Rangers fans who defend Morelos don't seem to know what age he is and are quick to big him up over the astonishingly clinical Cummings who basically has, give or take, scored or made the keeper majorly work with every single shot he's actually had. The only miss I even remember was a bang over the bar from 25 yards possibly at Ayr.

Morelos doesn't want to be at Ibrox, Cummings is 'buzzin' being here. Morelos missed a bunch of big chances at Parkhead, Cummings surely deserves a go.

05 Mar 2018 18:24:54
Oh dear. So he’s 21 not 20 forgot that most 21 year olds are the finished article. Take it you know Morelos personally and he’s told you he doesn’t want to be here? Harbouring ambitions to play in the premiership doesn’t mean we should get rid. On a side note a would also play Cummings as I think he’s a class player

05 Mar 2018 19:32:02
we try and go at them with 2 or 3 up front we will get picked off for sure

05 Mar 2018 20:02:03
Kris boyd as zero work rate even in his prime he couldn't score for us in big games

05 Mar 2018 20:03:42
Both great strikers but they don't pass to each other. I like a greedy streak in a good finisher but the number of goals they could have racked up yesterday if they played each other in would have been a lot higher.

05 Mar 2018 20:04:51
While Morelos does miss some really good chances, his work rate and off the ball play give no peace to defenders. That probably freed up a lot of space and time for Cummings to get the chances he did. I thought they looked good together.

05 Mar 2018 20:08:17
Cummings will need to settle for a place on the bench but if not going well I hope Murty gets him on before he makes his usual subs and perhaps even at half time. Morelos introduces an element of dynamism that could cause them problems.

Of more concern is if John does not make it. Halliday is not good enough in that position which happens to be where their best player is, and that's where this game will be won or lost.

05 Mar 2018 21:16:24
McCoist and Morelos in the same conversation again you, brilliant.

05 Mar 2018 22:19:54
Deary me Rick where you having such a lovely day you thought you would share you’re negativity with the rest of us? Away back to Celtic Park because you aren’t convincing anyone you’re a blue nose 😂😂😂

05 Mar 2018 22:23:32
Agree Snell they look good together. I’m just not convinced he will go with 2 up front against Celtic. Tricky one because I really like them both. I think he will give Morelos the nod though but if he goes with both hopefully they can both score a few 👍👍

04 Mar 2018 19:28:32
Jc is a cocky wee person, he will score on Sunday.
We've got to think positive, they're ready for the taking.
Worst Celtic team in years.
Cmon bears when is the last time you had a real good positive feeling before an old firm game?
The time is now.

04 Mar 2018 19:27:10
Murty got a good few dilemmas for next week. Alves or Martin, does cummings get a starting place. Does Murphy start. Does Halliday keep his spot of risk hopefully fit again John. What a great position to be in. Docherty was great again today and I’m sure will go on to be our captain.

04 Mar 2018 22:24:41
What game did u watch the day doc was cap as well as a few others and a hope morels does better not week because he could ey. hit a barn door from 6 yards the day

04 Mar 2018 22:22:33
I'd go
Fod
Tav
Bates
Alves
Halliday
Goss
Docerty
Windass
Candi
Murphy
Moralos
The same team that has been playing so well lately don't see the point in changing to much or the formation just would have Alves over Martin and Halliday becouse the we have no other choice apart from hodson.

05 Mar 2018 13:12:19
bluenose,

was just saying the same thing about Doc yesterday! great wee player and a def future gers captain imo

05 Mar 2018 16:06:28
Doc had a good game. Was everywhere and tried to make passes forward.

04 Mar 2018 11:22:46
With our growing confidence, I think this is the perfect game leading up to next week. I don't think we should be all Timmish and think we just need to turn up as it could be a tricky tie, but if we perform as we have been then we should win. I really hope we go full strength with the exception of Murphy as a precaution.

I posted on here the other day about the real possibility of signing goss permanently if we could agree a fee with QPR as he is loving it up here. He has now told SSN that he was told by holloway that his style of play would not suit QPR, now will QPR change their whole style of play to accomodate goss next season? They might if holloway gets the sack.

If holloway stays then why all of a sudden change your style of play to accommodate a player that he signed over a year ago? I don't think holloway will appreciate goss publicly discussing what holloway told him. Holloway sounds like the type of guy who would block a move out of spite. Why would goss want to play for a manager that bought him a year ago to then be told he wouldn't fit in the team. To me its obvious where goss wants to play, its a no brainer for him. If the right price is agreed then he will be ours. Question is how much is the right price?

04 Mar 2018 11:30:12
The ways things are QPR are pretty much in a free fall spiral with Holloway oot oan his ear. he’s always been mouthy sh*tet, if we want goss and price can be negotiated he will be on his way, See McBurnie is showing the way, Scotland cap maybe as well.

04 Mar 2018 12:34:08
Let’s hope Holloway is still in a job at QPR come the close season. If he is not then likely much more difficult to sign Goss.

04 Mar 2018 15:46:57
how do you know Goss loves it up here?

04 Mar 2018 19:06:42
Cause he so himself Deeb 😞

05 Mar 2018 20:03:08
coldo
they all say they love it here
