Ok, now where to start. people just pulling names out the hat that we are going to sign them. Well it's funny that we are getting this and that. But in real fact we ain't!

Now that's like me saying we are getting.
Ronaldo
Messi
Xavi
Robben
Lahm
Pepe
Fabregas
Song
Cole
Ramos
Rena.

And Ally putting the boots back on again too. It's not going to happen. Although that would be a GREAT team to have. But we are in D2 there more chance of us getting a player from elgin than a player from the English Conf. So do everyone favour and save you're self the time and don't poet crap. FACT!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Would do a job for us

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't sign any of those players as none are out of contract lol

Agree1 Disagree0

Can't believe davetee is try to compare Darren barr with his fantasy 11. Darren Barr is the kind of signing we need as he has played in the lower divisions before and he is free.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't touch Song, don't rate him ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate we ain't getting xavi he is defo staying with barca

Agree0 Disagree0

A want to know how Cole made it onto the list!

Agree0 Disagree0

Davetee is right. We should be thinking big.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hink it's Andy cole :-/ {The Ed039's Note - We already have the best Cole ............ Darren :-)

Lol no one told me I was to post real players we could get lol.

Song a good DM and for the cole one yeah take him out and put David Alaba in there instead then shall I?.

Barr maybe a good signing, but is he not injury prone tho?

Just been told an hour ago that rangers WILL definitely be signing 3 new defenders ie. craig Cathcart, marius zaliukas and David weatherspoon and this news is coming from someone employed at Murray park, a very reliable source

Believable15 Unbelievable83

Told people last week weatherspoon was on his way and no one believed me its a done deal

Agree0 Disagree1

Wotherspoon is average. Cathcart would be a great signing if he joined. Zaliukas would make the tims smile. Don't think I saw him play against them without giving them something. A penalty, red card, dodgy backpass, free kick on the edge of the box in injury time. He was like a double agent for them. Not for me I'm afraid.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is Cathcart? Zaliukas injury prone and Weatherspoon could'nt hold down a first team place at Hibs. Roll up Roll up 2 for a pound or 3 for the price of 2, it's like shopping in Poundland!

Agree0 Disagree0

Give kyle mcausland a chance and darren barr might be a better option than zaliukas.

Agree0 Disagree1

Take it your hoping for a cup game against the champions cause your not in the same league

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope none of them are expecting a wage then, or we will be going tits up very soon.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can 100% tell u with confidence that cathcart has been offerd a 3 year deal worth 12k a week. {The Ed039's Note - I will take him, but not at anywhere near 12k a week, not a chance on that money, actually nobody on that money for years yet)

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldnt want to see Zaliukas at ibrox he is not a reliable defender, Cathcart would be a welcome addition though

Ex Dundee Star Kevin McDonald in talks with Rangers FC - Source Local Dundee Evening Paper

Believable8 Unbelievable66

Not out of contract, still got a year on his deal at Sheffield United.

Agree1 Disagree0

Wrong - peter macdonald is in talks with dundee however.

Agree0 Disagree1

Ex Dundee and star says it all about this one!

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably the same guy that posted about this in the poat previous to this one l, try to give his bullsh*t rumour some backbone, jog on mate. James

Agree0 Disagree0

I just think it's funny that people post that all these players are coming. But infact no one wants to come to a team in D2. there is more chance them going to Conf in the english league where they can be spotted more easy. So to sit there and put across this player is coming and that one it's just funny. That like me saying we are getting. Ronaldo, Messi, Robben, Lahm, Pepe, Bale and Ally putting his boots back on and goning to score the goals again. just get a grip and think of what you are typing!

Agree0 Disagree0

More chance of being spotted in the English conference? If it is the same as last season in Div 3 then all of Rangers league games will be televised.

good afternoon fellow bears. got told last night that we are in talks with sheffield united about a swap deal. this deal is apparently close to complete - Lee Wallace going to sheffield united and Kevin McDonald coming to rangers. strange one for me but a good friend of mine is the sister of a board member at sheffield united and I was speaking to him about this last saturday. Kevin is a very good player and one for the future but sheffield united rate Lee Wallace very highly and want a straight swap - McDonald also home sick.

WATP

Believable17 Unbelievable115

Lee wallace will not be signing for sheff utd- end of!

Agree0 Disagree1

Not a chance why don't you get educated on Rangers related stuff like transfer in and out then we might listen. but highly unlikely.

Agree0 Disagree1

Mince. that is all

Agree1 Disagree0

Cat scans are widely available on the NHS where not going to let are best player go for someone who sounds like a coronation st character

Agree0 Disagree1

The values don't match up buddy. Its a nonsense. Wallace would command over a million, whereas McDonald would be nowhere near that.

Agree0 Disagree1

TRUE. i'm mates with Lee Wallace his agent is down there today to talk terms, as much as lee loves rangers he has been sold on sheffield united after just missing out on promotion to the championship they think next year will be there year and lee wants to play EPL football soon so see's this as a stepping stone. good thread who ever you are.

Agree3 Disagree2

Aye, McDonald a d £5mill maybe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers are dealing in "No where near that" transfers at present!

Agree0 Disagree1

As in ex rejected Dundee Player Kevin MacDonald? if its him then NOT a chance, Wallace value is much greater than his and Sheff United are a team that are going 1 direction. down

Agree0 Disagree1

The fifth poster is correct, these are not two players of equal value. We'd need to get money on top. There's also the minor issue of McDonald being under contract. We wouldn't be able to sign him until January. I fail to believe that Wallace can't get a better offer than a League 2 side.

Agree0 Disagree0

Erm, are we forgetting rangers have a transfer embargo? He can't sign!

Agree0 Disagree0

McDonald is not out of contract - end of story.

Agree0 Disagree0

One for the future at 25 mate?

Agree0 Disagree0

Your were speaking to him and he was the sister of. did he have a sex change op in that few mins. get a grip poster

Agree0 Disagree0

Ermare we forgeting rangers transfer embargo is up in a few weeks how long have you being sleeping

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if he's outta contract it ain't gny bd a straight swap is it. We dnt need to sell anybody so why would we if anybody goes itl be goian and boca mayb alexander but no chance wallace

Agree0 Disagree0

Would rather keep wallace talented reliable defender one of the best in scotland not worth the trade imo

Just heard from reliable source Murray Davidson will be signing for rangers this week100% done deal. good player

Believable59 Unbelievable49

Squad is full we will need to ship some folk out before adding any more.

DJ

Agree0 Disagree0

Squad is not full. The 22 player rule only applies to players who are OVER TWENTY-ONE, meaning any player born on or after 1. 1. 1992 does not count. This leaves only Alexander (assuming he stays), Argyriou, Cribari, Faure, Perry, Wallace, Black, Hutton, McCulloch, Shiels, Templeton, Hemmings and Little from the current squad, plus Bell, Peralta, Law, Clark and Daly. Even if we keep all the current lot, and Goian and Bocanegra come back, that's only 20 players.

Agree0 Disagree1

Cant really see past law and McLeod in the middle of the park next year and we have black parleta and hutton to so don't really see the sense in that one

Agree0 Disagree0

Huttons awful. So is Kane Hemmings. Just saying.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know Murray Personally and although his family are big Rangers fans he wants to try his luck in England, with offers from Swindon, Notts County and Sheff Wed. 100% will not be a Rangers player next season

Agree0 Disagree1

He's off to millwall

Just heard from a good source that three defenders will be coming in when the players who's contracts are up go. Don't know who though.

Believable14 Unbelievable38

Who's contracts are up?

bil72

Agree0 Disagree0

Alexander, Hemmings are the two I know of I think there may be a few more.

Agree1 Disagree0

What a quality rumour! We will be getting some folk in and some folk will be leaving.

has anyone heard this

Rangers target Chris Humphrey snubs Ally McCoist to join Preston.?

Believable71 Unbelievable6

Guy stays in East Kilbride beside me. Him and his family are getting ready to move down South, so it would appear so. Good player, would have added something to the squad. Good luck to the guy.

Agree0 Disagree1

Rangers were interested defo, but not offer anything.
other options were more favourable for gers before him and humphreys wanted the move from well

Agree0 Disagree0

He never snubbed rangers. rangers, have to date not followed up there initial interest.

Agree0 Disagree1

I think we have dodged a bullet with this one

Agree0 Disagree0

Humphrey says on tv he snubbed an offer from rangers because he's spent 4 years in Scotland and his family want to move down south signed a two tear deal with Preston

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard from a very reliable source that rangers WILL sign Blackburn striker David goodwillie on a season long loan deal with the view of signing him permanently for next season,

Believable10 Unbelievable81

Rangers cannot sign anyone on loan untill the transfer embargo is lifted, so I very much doubt its even possible to sign him!

Agree2 Disagree0

We should really pull out all the shots and get this guy he is pure quality. And he would give us the pace up front that we badly lack and of course goals. After Humphrey reject us or we didn't firm up our initial offer. We badly need pace up front and a solid Defender at the back. Hopefully Ally will get this before the end of August.

Agree0 Disagree0

Crap as My pals very close to him an I always as the? An its a defo no

Agree0 Disagree0

Not possible we are not allowed loan signings until Jan 14 transfer window

Agree0 Disagree0

Doesnt the loan window close after the transfer window?

Agree1 Disagree1

A web site say that Dundee United are in for him on loan! More chance of him going back there!

Agree0 Disagree0

Really don't see that happening. if Blackburn don't want him they will sell him. Gers won't be wanting to pay his level of wage

Agree0 Disagree0

Going to Aberdeen on years loan

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't loan anyone unless its a short term emergency loan after 1st sept ( Is that right ed? ) {The Ed039's Note - With transfer embargo yes)

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers centre half Carlos bocanegra is to take a pay cut to stay with rangers as this is what boca wants badly, he really loves the club and if he does stay he's by far a better centre half than ie. berra, cathcart, beevers, barr, zaliukas etc

Believable25 Unbelievable86

04 Jun 2013 01:07:45
He could've took a pay cut before and stayed with rangers to fight it out and the 3rd. The boy had the chance to go on loan as to remain competitive for international duty and fair enough took it with Santander picking up his wages freeing £. It'd be great to have him back but I dare say if we can't afford his wages we'll sell him or put him out on loan again. I'd imagine his international career will take a nose dive should he return.

Agree1 Disagree0

Rangers will have to reduce the size of their squad before the start of the season, with Scottish Football League rules restricting teams to registering only 22 players aged over 21. With the new signings, and Carlos Bocanegra and Dorin Goian due to return from loan spells, the Ibrox side will have 26 players aged over 21.

Agree0 Disagree1

Guys let's get real and stop all this ' he loves Rangers' rubbish. Boca, like all players, will go for the biggest amount of money / contract he can get. Common sense! If Rangers give him the best contract he will stay if not he's off, all down to economics and nothing to do with any sort of love for the jersey, those days have long gone!

Agree1 Disagree3

He better take a 75% wage cut then because I imagine he will be on 20K a week!!

Agree1 Disagree0

He loves the club?where did he say this as the previous poster said he will go where money is if he loved the club he would have stayed last year like big jig a guy that u could maybe say loves the club since he been a fan like us since he was a boy!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure he loves his country more. Wasn't it rumoured that Klinsmann had told him he needs top flight football to stay in the squad for next year's World Cup?

1903

Agree0 Disagree0

World Cup place or playing for a 2nd div outfit, let me think about it!

Motherwell striker Michael higdon on his way to rangers just been told by one of the Motherwell players who I'm very friendly with

Believable12 Unbelievable94

Will higdon sign with rangers tommorow?

Agree0 Disagree2

More lies

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't sign anymore players over the age of 21 unless players leave

Agree0 Disagree2

Very good, where's the money coming from to sign all these players? Money is the ONLY reason any 'names' will sign for Rangers.

Agree1 Disagree1

First thing they need to do is put him on a diet ;-))

bil72

Agree2 Disagree0

Some of the signings have stated the turned down better financial terms to sing with the gers. Do you are talking bull

Agree0 Disagree1

Offer submitted by Barnsley. The Motherwell source never saw that coming, obviously.

Agree1 Disagree0

Just imagine te race for the last pie if he signs!

Agree0 Disagree0

Higdons outts contract so aye we could sign him

Agree0 Disagree0

My pal said he's away to burnley

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance guys! let's save our breath on the SPL top player until we return to top flight football in a few years, (that's if another rouge does not bankrupt us again!)
