Hes a talent no doubt, if what you say is true with Monk not listing him in squad and targetting an alternative might mean he is available.
Iv heard he may cost £1.5m though which may be the stumbling block for us.
Maybe we can sort out a reduced package and get it over the line but i'm not convinced we are after a wide player.
I think a CH and CF are the 2 final pieces of the jigsaw in this transfer window for W&W.

Honestly I don't think we need another winger/ attacking midfielder. That money could be best spent somewhere else, even though he's a great player.

The reason he's not in the squad is because he's on holiday. Players who played at the Euros will return to pre season a couple of weeks later than everyone else.

Most players will only sign for the club that offers them the most cash, rather than sign for a club that can give them a chance of winning trophys, that's why i was surprised we managed to sign joey barton, he could have earned substantially more money with burnley or some other club down south but he said, sometimes it's not all about the cash, which in today's modern footballer you very rarely see that anymore.

I think Dembele has been mega over hyped tbh. If any other big club wanted hom they would have signed him. Spurs pulled the plug on deal. he's young, raw and has good potential. 17 goals in about 40 games last season for a team who scored plenty is hardly a World Class striker.
Griffiths thrived on playing up top himself, whos to say he will be as effective as part of a 2?
We do need to improve our defence no doubt but I really don't fear their strike force at all.
12 months ago almost all of their squad would have got in our team now only Sviatchenko, Griffiths and Tiernay would get in our squad and wouldn't all start either IMO.

James stirling i can't see both of them playing for celtic at the same time, griff will still be there number 1,i think they will be pitched together nearer the end of a game, more in desparation, ie when they need a late goal, apart from that most people are worried about there new recruite, why is the question i ask, by the time he settles in it will be time to offload him, and if people think he will be worth 10 million, i wonder how much some of our youngsters will be worth, mckey trillions.

the boy is a great player and is hyped up rightly so he will go to the top of the game with a top top team one day I've said that before he went to selik he scares me now that he is there and I think warbs woulda loved him but the boy will be on double of anyone in our squad.
