Believable11 Unbelievable9

04 Aug 2015 20:14:19
F#%$ Sake!! need to get this one over the line. I think if we can get him it would boost the season book sales up to 35/38000

04 Aug 2015 20:16:58
Alaska were did you see this, and For how much? if this is the case and we can't get him give it one last try on transfer deadline day and if still a no then sign him on a precontract in January

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Aug 2015 20:25:27
the bid was 280 thousand and hibernian board have rejected it

Agree1 Disagree6

04 Aug 2015 20:41:08
The bid was between £300k and £325k and hibs rejected it and told them he's not for sale so you will have to wait for pre season and get him in June

Agree2 Disagree4

04 Aug 2015 20:46:20
Nothing anywhere saying that it's rejected , not saying that someone has heard different

Agree2 Disagree5

04 Aug 2015 21:00:38
STV are reporting that it has been rejected.
We got to face facts, it ain't going to happen, he is not coming to Rangers.

Gardner you are always the first to get defensive about a Scott Allan story ;) and mvg you're a hibee in disguise we all know that. I have faith that he will be coming to Rangers before end of August. Let's wait and see, be patient bears.

04 Aug 2015 23:56:29
Alan will no move to dundee utd or aberdeen hibs also won't accept a bid from gers fact, he will sign a pre contract at gers in january and move in the summer fact this IS how it will go he won't come before then

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Aug 2015 01:25:12
I don't think you's will get him this window and I don't think its to do with transfer fee. I think its more the case of the way he has conducted himself that has riled Hibs. If he never paraded himself out and about with Your teams players, he may very well of been granted transfer by now.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Aug 2015 08:57:34
"we need to get this one over the line" I disagree! At what price I think for a championship player in the last year of his contract I think £400k is overpaying £250/300k would be an exceptional offer.Hibs are doing exactly what we knew they would and hold us to ransom! i'd bide my time till january

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Aug 2015 15:35:10
Ezyezy ye right a dreamer mate won't be at rangers till June if at all

Gallagher to St.Mirren 'Transfer Arrangment'? He signs a 1 year deal after John McGinn leaves St.Mirren for Hibs then Rangers make 3rd Allen bid under an hour later? Could this be an agreement between the 3 clubs?

Believable4 Unbelievable10

04 Aug 2015 19:21:29
Hopefully and if the deal goes through Stubbs will look like an even bigger knob

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Aug 2015 19:28:13
Apparently not stv tweeted saying Hibs have rejected third bid and are sticking by their guns " won't be sold to rangers"

Good post Hobbsy, that's what I like reading on this page.
Beats reading news reports on here all to hell.

04 Aug 2015 20:05:10
Cheers gkk. Been monitoring it since McGinn went to Hibs and Carmichael moved from QoS aswell seem to be Hibs are the only team unwilling to sell to a 'rival' haha

Agree1 Disagree1

05 Aug 2015 10:51:08
I would PROPBABLY have about St Mirren being involved in a deal that would eventually involve us, but I've heard nothing.
Will start digging.

I wonder how much this time.
Hope it's a serious bid on this occasion, unlike the last two.

Agree2 Disagree1

04 Aug 2015 19:16:08
Apparently its £325k with £250k upfront from what I have seen but nothing has been confirmed yet

"Hopefully Stubbs see sense this time"

What exactly is the sense in selling a player to a rival?

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Aug 2015 10:54:10
Is Allen worth all of this?
Hibs should maybe look and think if we will get to January with a lead in the league maybe ANY bid now is a good deal for them. If we are romping the league in January we maybe need to set our sights higher than Scot Allen.

STYAB
Could list a dozen player sold by Hibs to us and Cheltic since Colin Stein all at a time Hibs needed to keep them.

Where did you pull that one from, alaska?

Agree2 Disagree6

04 Aug 2015 17:38:19
Surely we must be replacing him with another youth, he has so much potential.

Agree1 Disagree5

04 Aug 2015 17:57:37
Crazy if you ask me , w/w highlighted youth to get a chance , find that hard if he's letting one of our better young players go , but in Warburton we trustv

04 Aug 2015 18:07:06
dont understand this one,,,is someone else coming in if so why wasn't he given achance

Agree1 Disagree2

04 Aug 2015 19:58:41
rangers have first option to buy him back and usual sell on agreements

Agree3 Disagree0

04 Aug 2015 21:12:40
Maybe he wanted 1st team football or maybe Warburton thought he had better youth at his disposal.

Agree2 Disagree1

04 Aug 2015 13:06:51
Looks like Callum Gallacher is heading to St Mirrin, Not sure if just a loan deal.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

04 Aug 2015 13:12:17
surely it's a loan deal? boy has potential, would probably cut it and championship level, with a decent squad around him. like we finally have.

Agree2 Disagree3

04 Aug 2015 14:34:30
The boys got bags of potential.not sure why we give him to 1 of our rivals tho.was hoping he was gona get shot at first team this year

Agree1 Disagree3

04 Aug 2015 15:09:18
Sr Mirrin signed him on a 1 year deal.

Agree3 Disagree1

04 Aug 2015 15:29:16
Think he will do well.
Think he could have done a job for us. Should have sent him on loan instead of selling him I think.

Agree1 Disagree2

04 Aug 2015 15:37:22
Good point davie.
But be prepared for a load of disagrees from all those who are outraged at Hibs' reluctance to sell Scott Allan to one of their rivals.

Agree1 Disagree1

04 Aug 2015 15:55:47
thats a funny one bit surprised,,,maybe there's another forward coming in.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Aug 2015 16:08:00
You guys obviously see something I don't. Loan is a good idea although don't see him ever being of required standard.

Surely if he was ever going to get a chance now would of been the right time.

Agree4 Disagree0

04 Aug 2015 16:51:22
Good luck to him but he did have some tough competition Hardie, Walsh and MacKay to name 3 we can't keep all our youngsters and if he is not in the bosses plans it's better to let him go

Agree3 Disagree0

04 Aug 2015 16:53:41
Full transfer not a loan

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Aug 2015 16:59:36
Making room for new striker?

Agree2 Disagree0

04 Aug 2015 17:00:58
Gallagher one year deal to st mirren to free up space and some wages for Stevie May to sign on a one year loan deal with a view of a permanent one deal will be tied up very soon in time hopefully for St mirren game though would start on bench due to lack of match fitness if not then before transfer window closes but W+W would like to have him up and signed asap.

Agree3 Disagree3

04 Aug 2015 17:35:02
Im sure if he had that real potential Warburton would have known by now, it is easy for us to say but the coaches see these guys everyday.

Agree4 Disagree0

04 Aug 2015 20:02:56
u cannot keep every player some hard decisions have to be made and probably a good deal for the lad 2 because st mirren will have to pay him the same wages he was on at rangers that's why its only a 1year deal

Agree0 Disagree1

04 Aug 2015 20:27:24
Just hope this is not yet another young player that we have let go and comes back to bite us on the butt and then in a year or 2 we go back in to buy him and have to pay funny money to get him, how many times has this happened before come on when are we ever going to LEARN!!

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Aug 2015 21:53:33
