Leigh griffiths you having a laugh no chance of going to rangers. more realistic is boyd will be back I know you all have had your say but I would have in back in an instant simply because I don't believe he was ever given a real chance at rangers in bigger games I believe he can score against anyone given the service. how many big games did he really get a chance in to prove he could score and if he did get a chance it was for 10 minutes or something. I say let's give him another chance and see if he can help get us back to the top where we belong. tough if it didn't work out at boro or forest I still want him back.

Slightly off topic but could someone explain to me why we have a transfer embargo. Surly this should be lifted now that we have been proved not guilty of gaining an unfair advantage by using ebt contracts. What does everybody else think?

I think your slightly off your head the transfer embargo was not imposed due to misuse of EBT contracts the same as Rangers were not relegated to the 3rd division due to tax avoidance, get it into your thick skull the Rangers team you supported is dead ( administration, liquidation) you are supporting a different team now, wake up son.
Different team? Says who? All you deluded, Rangers obsessed dhims? So UEFA, FIFA, SFA, SPL & SFL all recognise we are the same team but because you say we aren't then that must be fact? Swallow it and move on.
To the OP I really don't think, nor do I want Griffiths to come, too many off field antics, and mumping and moaning on the pitch. Granted when he does turn it on he is a good player, but he's not my cup of tea. I would like to see Boyd back, and I think he will be back. Like 2nd poster said, given the service, Boyd could score against anyone, and I feel this season we have been relying on Jig and Little far too much cause let's be honest, we aren't going to get anything from Sandaza or Kyle are we.

Total lies but what's the point of signing Griffiths? He isn't that good at pulling down a long ball.
I hope we don't sign the likes of Boyd or Miller as they clearly have no sell on value, - if this is the kind of players Mccoist has in his plans then he's a bigger joke than I had imagined. We have enough free loaders, who we won't be able to sell on at the club now.
It is difficult with so many different elements fo the situation. the transfer embargo was a sanction applied due to the non-payment of PAYE and vat over a twelve month period which the commission found to be second only to match fixing (a clear reference to seeking an advantage). It was not related to EBT or side letters. Mr Green decided to accept it after having it overturned in the because as the other sanctions open to the commission would have been far more disadvantageous.

When did UEFA recognise it was the same club? Don't UEFA seem club and company to be the same, hence no european football for years?

Do you people seriously think that Griffiths, despite his obvious personality defect, would even consider Rangers? The guy's on fire at the moment and when you are in that position you try to better yourself, not drop a couple of Divisions.
You really ought to consider more realistic targets, eg players reaching their 'sell by' dates are your obvious choice, as are young talented potentials from the lower divisions. Who will be the next on your wish list - Suarez perhaps!
I do not support Celtic. {The Ed039's Note - Good for you, do you really think that if he was offered a better salary at Rangers than say, Crystal Palace or Blackpool he wouldnt consider it? You bet he would)
I very much doubt if Rangers could top Palace etc - I imagine Crawley Town could offer more. Plus he would enjoy a pleasant atmosphere in the ground!

The Ed039 we'll have to agree to disagree on this one! I don't believe any player with ambition wants to waste 2/3 years in scotlands lower divisions, and palace weren't a good example,. ,. kbarry {The Ed039's Note - I dont think there is anything to disagree on. The ambition that you speak of has got to be looked at in broader terms than "you're playing in the lower divisions". The ambition has got to be to turn around the fortunes of Rangers, to play in front of 40,000 plus every second week, the chance to win trophies in the future. Personally I dont think he will sign for Rangers, but if you think that he would flat turn down Rangers, if offered good terms, then you are very wrong)
